I think it depends on the person himself/herself. Some men are big spenders, some women are the same. It depends on how they're brought up and how disciplined they are in budgeting their money. I know some people who were used to given everything they wanted when they were kids...they have a hard time budgeting their income when they are adults. Gender doesn't matter in this case.

yah i agree with you it depends on the person character.if man is moderate in spending then he is good if woman then she is good.

I think it depends entirely on how people were brought up to view money. My partner and I are both pretty bad - I am possibly slightly better as I will try and sort things out - but we both have similar reasons for why we are like it. Both of us came from financially challenged backgrounds, and both of us vowed early on that we wouldn't ever miss out on things - hence we are no in a lot of trouble!

I think for the most part it's an individual thing. But in my immediate family, the women (my mom, my grandmother, myself) are the savers and the men (my dad and brother) are impulse buyers who think about immediate gratification instead of thinking about what they'll need farther down the road. And my dad definitely doesn't understand how credit cards work. However, I just read a book by a guy who became a millionaire partially by becoming an extreme saver, putting more than half his salary into savings while living on a shoestring budget, and he did this for years. I'm not sure I could have done that. So yeah, it's a toss up.

I think man can create more money, and woman tends to be good at how to spend them:)

It actually depends on the personality of the individual instead of the gender.

i think, on how an individual handles money depends on how he/she is brought up. it doesn't matter on which gender group you belong.

depend on my knowledge, woman has their own naturally to manage money coz it will relate with how to occupy their family needs. but in some case, it will depend on the personality. we cant neglect the fact that some woman like to just spend money than man and some woman like to saving money than man :) but still in my opinion, woman has more ability to maintain money well than man

I think it is women who handle the money better than their counter-parts. They are more wiser in handling money matters. It is entirely my personal opinion.

I guess it depends on the nature of the person and how he or she is disciplined to spend and save. It also depends on whether he is spending his own hard-earned money or someone else is giving him the money as allowance without any amount of work or task to be done in return. In our family, I have observed that my three siblings are savers like me. I'm the eldest and I've got one younger brother and two younger sisters. But spending and saving by me and my husband is a different story. In our particular case, I am the saver and he's the spender. Instead of pointing to him for the cause of our 'no savings', I first checked and reviewed their background on family spending and from there, I finally made my personal conclusion.

I think it is and individual thing. I only have limited experience with how well women are at handling money. My mother was pretty good and my sister seems to do O'K but is not wise with investing. My ex-wife was terrible with the day to day money things, she wouldn't write down checks in her check book log or atm withdrawals and I had to balance her checkbook because she would never do it. She had to buy a new pair of almost identical shoes about once a month because the ones she got would not last well and, on top of that, they were terrible for her feet.

my opinion, women and men sre supposed to do their own business.most women are good at saving money, they alaways think about the future use, they have a good plan. While men tend to do well in dealing with a large amount of money. If a man can make money and use the money he earns to creat more treasure,It's really a success. I want to be successful in making a lot of money too,but I feel I have no such confidence. However, men are much braver than us. If I get married, I will try my best to save money for the future, and if necessary, I will give part or even most of the money to my husband as long as I believe he can deal with the money better than me.
