Most Controversial Song

spokesman @spokesman (84) • United States 10 Apr 08

What do you think is the most controversial song of the past 10 years? This is a difficult one for me because my perception of controversial may be different from some. I don't equate controversial with simple shock value. No,...

cdv102 Well, I don't know how controversial these are seeing as everyone I know agrees with them wholeheartedly, but how 'bout "Dear Mr. President" by Pink and "Mosh" by Eminem? I mean, of course I was going to vote already, but "Mosh" made me feel like I would be...

cdv102 Oh, there are lots. But I guess I'd have to give it to "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds in The Breakfast Club. It's a classic 80s movie and the song fit perfectly. Plus, I'm a nostalgic person and I always felt that same bittersweetness when I was...

When You Were At School, Did You Ever Skip, Skive Or Play Hooky?....

gemini_rose @gemini_rose (16264) 26 Mar 08

If you did, what did you do instead? When I was at school, the teachers were having strikes and so for a long time we would turn up at school, only to be sent home again because there were no teachers to teach. It was an ideal...

cdv102 I rarely skipped school altogether. But I did used to skip classes a lot. Sad to say not for any fun reasons, though. Usually if I ended up skipping my first-period class it was because I was late and just couldn't bare walking in twenty minutes into the class...

cdv102 Yes, it is part of a cycle that the earth has been through before, but we are speeding it along with out actions. What may not have happened for another 100,000 years, we're practically ensuring will happen in our lifetime. The problem is extremely serious.

cdv102 No, global warming is not about the sun getting closer to the earth. It's about the amount of heat the earth is absorbing. We are supposed to absorb a certain amount of heat from the sun, but some of it should be reflected back into the atmosphere. A layer of...

Openly gay in the military?

dixie5150 @dixie5150 (129) • United States 17 Jan 08

There is a lot of talk about getting rid of the "don't ask don't tell" policy and allowing gays to openly serve in the military. Having grown up a military brat and been a military wife, yet having many gay friends who I think...

cdv102 I don't think there's anything wrong with having openly gay men or women in the military. And this does not mean that they should be making out with their lovers in the middle of the barracks--but the same is true for the straight military people! There is a...

cdv102 Well, honestly, I kind of agree with your mom. (Sorry!) Not that I think tattoos are the worst thing in the world or anything. I just happen to know that over the years, your tastes and interest change pretty drastically from the time you're 16. So what you...

Who has a favorite Tom Hanks Movie?

ersmommy1 @ersmommy1 (12587) • United States 10 Jan 08

There are plenty to choose from. Is there one you could watch over and over and not get tired of it? It's a toss up for me. I like Big. But another good one is Nothing in Common. What's yours?

cdv102 I love Tom Hanks, so it's more like which one of his movie do I NOT watch over and over. (For me that would be That Thing You Do and Apollo.) But you gotta love Big and Forrest Gump. He was amazing in Philadelphia, although that's a sad one. A League of Their...

Do you honestly think that a black person can become our President in 08?

lifesaventure @lifesaventure (1) • United States 9 Jan 08

Ok, it has started and Senator Obama has made some tremendous jumps into history. Has the prejudice been reduced to the point that he can enter the White House? Not too many years ago blacks could not vote. They did not serve...

When do you think is the time to end a friendship?

glitzypurple @glitzypurple (1477) • Philippines 8 Jan 08

cdv102 I've learned the hard way that not all friendships are meant to be lifelong. People change and grow in different ways and a friendship that worked for you when you were 20 may not work for you when you're 35. If you find that a person is no longer bringing...

cdv102 Going along with the pamper yourself theme, why not hire a masseuse to come to your house and give you a luxurious hour-long massage? It'll probably cost you the same amount as a fancy dinner out anyway. Or if the problem is that your bday is on a weekday so...
