For me the best time to get married is April. According to our Bengali beliefs, 14th/15th April is the Bengali New Year so the days after 15th are actually in the first month of the Bengali Calendar and are considered very auspicious. Also I am a summer child in the sense that I love summer, no matter how hot the Indian summer gets. I feel very free in summer without the added encumbrance of winter clothing and the quintessential umbrella of monsoon. Summer and April are the ideal time for me.

To my opinion, I think different countries have different marriage month. In China, people prefer to celebrate their wedding in May, June and July and many people prefer to hold their wedding celebration during the holidays of Spring Festival.

I was married in August a few years ago and that worked for my husband and I. We were able to get away from the hot weather for our honeymoon and it was s different time of year than other weddings we were used to.

I think start of winter is the best season to get married. Here in India it starts from the month of September or October and married season lasts till January....or February. It is not comfortable to get married in the months of summers here in northern India because of excessive heat and humidity. I married in the month of February (at the end of the season...LOL!) Have a nice day!

I don't have a preference as to what month I would choose to get married. If i had to choose I would probably choose the spring time or fall.

Hi! I got married at the month of April too! we chose that month because its summer and we wanted a grden wedding, I guess it depends on the couple, I don't believe in lucky month or day to get married, you have to decide for it and chose a date that you think is best. But in my experience, December months are the wedding month here in the Philippines, so many couples get married on this month, so wedding suppliers are always booked..and wedding supplies like flowers are a bit higher compared to other months.

I got married in December, and it was freezing! If I could choose to get married again, I'd get married in Spring, it wouldn't bee too hot or too cold! Fortunately for me it didn't rain, but I was hoping it would snow and it didn't. I had a gorgeous bustier style dress and I was so cold! I wouldn't get married in Winter if I were you! Autumn would be quite nice, but personally, I'd do it in Spring!
