Well I have been bashed enough

I thought this was supposed to be a great community of people have discussions and sharing things with one another. I have had a bunch of friend requests over my first couple of days and it turns out that many of them just wanted to bash me for posting my home business in my profile. This will be my last discussion on this site. I did not put anything in my profile to try and rip anyone off as I run a completely legitimate home business with my wife. We actually have a business that helps people that do not have insurance get quality care at affordable prices. I have not posted my business links as the rules say and I have not pushed my business on anyone like I see SO MANY people doing on here. So here is my last post. Regards to the good hard working people out there but I will not stand for being disrespected for running a business that actually helps people save money and also helps those looking to work from home. I pay for my advertising on the internet and did not come to this site for that purpose. I was actually hoping to find like minded people to have meaningful discussions with. Good luck to all and may God Bless

No need for you to take their words. As a businessman you have to be strong and at high level of social standing. Take it as a routine assessment to your business progress. Businessman should be tough and rigid on business principle. Not to be as rolling stone gathers no moss. Any negative thoughts towards you, just take it and reply with a very kind 'killing' words. Don't be a winner but a gainer. Be yourself, a businessman.

Businessman is profit driven. Manager is management skills driven. An entrepreneur is innovation driven. So look for your profit, take the whole profit but a quarter give. A quarter for your networking to grow from seed stage to growth stage. Just do it and you get it.

You know what? You are exactly right. I am going to treat it just like I do every other aspect of my business. Some people like it and some people do not. Just because someone is interested in my business does not mean I automatically get them started. There is an interview process to ensure they are up to my standards before I will invest my time in them. Thank you for your words of inspiration!!!

Wow these people are not very nice! I don't know what is wrong with them! We are allowed to post out businesses and programs on our profiles. And I have got a lot of people to join my programs with this site! Well I think you should stay. Forget what others say. They are just jealous because you have a business and are making money.

I do not know if they are jealous or not. What I keep hearing is your company charges a start-up fee so it has to be a scam. Well I work with a 15 yr old $100 million debt free company that deals with companies like Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, Lens Crafters, Pearl Vision, Sear, JC Penney, Walgreens, etc. These companies do not deal with scams and yes they do charge a extremely small start-up fee because they originally let people get started from home for free and guess what happened. Thousands of people (probably just like the negative ones I have run across here) "said" they wanted to work from home and actually did nothing. So my company lost millions of dollars setting up websites, accounts and sent out starter kits to lazy people. The small fee is atleast somewhat of a gurantee that we are dealing with people who really want to work. Besides I do not know of any other place you can work from home and start a legitimate business that helps people make money and save money for $95. You know if you do not want to join I do not really care and if you want to work from home and cannot afford $95 then they probably should get off their lazy butts and get a job.

I almost didn't reply, because if you're gone you wont see this. But, if you get e-mail notifications then you'll at least be able to read my response. First off, I have checked your profile, your posts and responses to other posts. You've done everything by the book here, so you have nothing to worry about on that line. As for your business that you are promoting on your profile, I have heard great things about it and not-so great things about it. Just like I've heard great things about Wal-Mart and not-so great things about Wal-Mart. I was in a discussion a while back about another service - which I think is a rip-off (not a scam, just a rip-off) but other people are VERY happy with it. We all have our own opinions, but we don't have to listen to other peoples. Maybe they think they're helping you by warning you away from it. I know that with my company, I get the "scam" and "pyramid" stuff all the time. It's mostly from people who wont take the half hour or so to actually talk to me about it that have those objections. They want something quick and fast, not work! If they have to put some money into it (ours is $29 enrollment fee) they think someone is going to take their money and run - like has happened when they haven't done their research. I don't waste my time with those people because it's counter-productive. As for the friends, I noticed a few on your profile that are great friends to have and a couple that all I got from them were spam. I delete the ones I don't care for or have a need for. Again, it's counter-productive. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for the positive feedback and you are right that you can find positive and negative feedback on any business. As far as anyone "attempting" to warn me off my business becuase they feel it is less than legit, I have been with them for quite awhile now and I KNOW them to be a great and legitimate business. From what I have read on various posts on mylot there seems to be this common thread or "money involved means scam" When you are dealing with a home based business that thinking is completely ubsurd. There is a difference between making a few dollars online and having a business. People seem to constantly post thinks like "my home business" when referring to GPT sites and that IS NOT a home business. It is simply a way to make a little money online.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. I've seen tons of people having their own personal sites in their profile. I don't see what the problem is. Well, I'm sorry that you haven't met any nice people on here. I don't blame you for being upset. Continued good luck with your home business.

Thank you for the well wishes and I did not think there would be a problem with it but to be accused of trying to scam people is very disheartening when all we are trying to do is meet new people and have meaningful discussions about life.

Some people dont wish well to others, they just want to see a person complaining and I never thought that those kind of people are in here. I wish you the best in your home business.

On behalf of many mylotters who will agree with me, I extend my sincere apologies for everything you faced which no self-respecting person should face for no apparent fault. Yes, I have seen many people directly or indirectly promoting their business here. All I can say is that most of them are pushers and go-getters and they don’t mind the accompanying flak for breaking rules. But there are many like you who never cross the line in any matter, whether business or decorum. So I would request you not to judge all of us by a few bad examples.

I am sorry to hear that people have bashed you.I think peopel should just look on the Better Business Bureau to see if its a scam rather than bash people.I am alway looking for ways to make money and I always enjoy reading peoples post about how they make money and what sites or companies they work for .If I dont decide to join I usually put it in my favorites that way if I decide to join then it will be where I can find it.Do you make decent money with this business?

I do make ok money. I average about $600-$800 a week in new business and that adds about another $120 a week to my monthly residual income. I make money in two ways. I get paid daily for work I submit online by 5pm. As an example last I received a check today for $270 for 3 applications I submitted last thursday but I also get a monthly commission as long as the account is active. I submitted one more today and will receive a check for $90 either friday or next monday. Every morning the company reviews work submitted the day before and cuts and mails check monday-friday. By the end of my first year in the business I should, as long as I keep at the pace I am currently on be bringing in about $5000-$6000 monthly. Keep in mind this is not a business for everyone. If you do not like talking to people then you would not like it. You have to be able to talk to people about your business and the services it offers. Not cold calling because we do not cold call or sell anything like avon, party-lite, etc. I do not "sell" anything because I only talk to people who have expressed interest in either the service or the business. Basically I provide them information about either making money or saving money (no, not investments or financial services) and if they are interested I submit their information online through a couple websites the company provides for me and I get paid. That is basically how it works for most. I am a little different because I am also a trainer so my job is to help people with the business but I get additional compensation for that as well.
