I am posting this discussion again, with picture this time. I forgot to attached it before. When J.K. Rowling announced that Dumbledore is a gay, and has been in love with Grindelwald, in her seventh and final book entitled "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", a lot of people were shocked about the revelation. Now, what are the implications of this twist in the fantasy series in our own society? In this record-breaking fantasy series to include a gay character mirrors our present society's tolerance and acceptance of homosexuality. It is a big step for the gay rights. By dubbing someone so respected and talented as Dumbledore to be a gay will mean that a person's gayness is not something that should be ashamed of nor be a reason for his discrimination. A big hurray to Jo Rowling and to all members of the gay population.
