Is this fair?

I was half way through a survey about travel when the site said it had enough people that had completed it and it just ended. I was annoyed because I had spent twenty minutes on it and all for nothing. Travel is my favorite hobby. It is a shame that many other sites to make money are a waste of time. I get so much fun from My lot though. Have you ever got annoyed when trying to make extra money? Do you use any other sites that are as good as My Lot?

no its not and unfortunatly it happens a lot. With a company that continously does this you should discontinue membership. With mysurvey.com you get your points whether you can finish or not.Hope this helps good luck

I got a voucher for the first ten or so surveys that I did and was pleased about this. However as time went on it would not let me do every survey that they had. I am getting fed up with it now and thinking of discontinuing my membership. Thanks for your superb response. You have helped.

Yeah, that would be annoying though it hasn't ever happened to me. Usually if you don't qualify you get screened out fairly early on in the piece. I blog for money these days and have earned up to $500 in a week.

Yeah, I've only just discovered blogging a little over year ago. At first it was only a SEO tactic to improve my PR but then I found that people would pay me to post for them. I have a tutorial on my Blogsire blog that explains how I do it.

Wow! You earn a lot for your blog. Yes, I prefer to be screened out early and not waste lots of time.

I get annoyed when that happens to me too as I belong to a few survey sites as well. Mylot seems to be the one I can guarantee at least one payment each month. I have to either accumulate points for the others and then redeem for cash or gifts.

Yes, My Lot is one site that everyone can enjoy and do well with. I am glad that you get a payment each month. Many thanks for your very good response.

Sometimes it can be hard to make money online. I have found two sites that I really enjoy where I take surveys for cash at. They are surveyspot and opinionoutpost. I have made over four hundred dollars at surveyspot and about ninety and opinionoutpost in a year and a half. I qualify for many surveys on both of these sites and really enjoy taking the surveys that they have to offer. I hope this helps you.

oh man! I hate it when that happens. It's happened to me more than once. One time I made it all the way to the end of the survy and the final question was: BTW Are you male or female? I checked off female and submitted the survy. The next page to open said: We're sorry but this survy is only open to males. Sorry for the inconviance. Sorry! OMG! They should have had that as the first question not the last question!

Oh my! I can see that was awful to get 'are you male or female?'I don't think this matters to most stuff but if it does the site should ask you early on. Many thanks for your excellent response.

I really hate when this happens because some of them pay some 5$ per survey and when that happens or they give you just 10c if you are lucky or they don't give you anything. I don't understand that. Why can't they count how many have been started at certain moment and not only how many are finished because that way they wouldn't let us even start new ones even if the few last ones weren't done yet.

i know how you feel... it will be very annoying... so far, i haven't find any site which is as good as mylot... this is the best... all other sites' income are capped while mylot doesn't... as long as we are hardworking here, we can earn as much as we want... so this is my favourite site to earn money online so far...

It was Ciao was it? I hate Ciao because they do that with their surveys you get halfway through only to be told you are not eligible. I hate wasting my time with them and I don't bother any more unless they guarantee you are paid. They are infuriating I totally agree. I do Yougov which does guarantee you get paid regardless. There aren't many survey sites based in the UK, most are American and most only give out prize tickets to a draw you never win.

Andrea and me. - My daughter and I on my last visit to Perth.
I don't trust most of the money making sites and I would hate to rely on them to make a living. I have had similar experiences to you with survey sites. Once I had almost finished a survey when I got a similar message to you. The other has stopped sending me any surveys as I had acumulated a lot of points and was nearing a payout. I'd like to hear from some myLotters who can recommend some good sites..

I have been doing surveys for years. I have weeded out sites that waste my time or give me nothing for my time. Now I am down to a select few. The entire survey industry has changed over the years. I do well with Global Test Market, Lightspeed, Zoom Panel, MyPoints and Survey Spot. I have a few others but I don't do real well with them currently. I will be cleaning out sites again soon.

I find this happens a lot with me, it gets a bit annoying as you say when half way through they just say that the survey is compeleted because of it reaching enough people, usually I get the "not in the right age bracket", I wonder what is the 'right age' if you are good enough to sit down and do the survey there shouldn't be an age bracket I feel. Hope you find some more surveys to do that don't chuck you off half way through. All the best.

It is infact not fair but I think this happens with most of the people here who tries to fill out a survey form. It happend with me long time back and then I gave up all those survey stuff. I do not trust them anymore. There may be some genuine ones but I have come across some bad sites. Take care.

Hi maximax8.Oh i know this all too well.I hate that so much, giving input and wasting time.I think its their sneaky way of getting "some"information from you by leading you on and getting enough information from you that they need and then half way through "we already have the qualified number of people that have completed this survey".Blah,blah.I now do not do surveys from this one or any that gave me the sneaky brush off.I wouldnt bother with them, there are alot of them that do it too. Peanutjar:)

Its really unfair thats why dont trust to much of online surveys. Coz the hint..they dont ask you where will they put your earnings...So from that you know they just spam you. So better be careful.

Yes I have had the same thing happen when doing a survey. It is very annoying when you waste so much time.

When we spend so much time and finally when we get message from the site not to proceed further offcourse its a great annoyment..Mylot is a interesting place where we can debate about anything and share our views.. I work with another site for promoting the site name and i really enjoy doing it because of its genuinity..

Well, i live in a country where online surveys are not usually available... and mylot is, i think the best site there is...i tried to sign up for other sites that promised to pay but nothing happened... they would always ask for an upgrade and there is a need to get tons of referrals in order to earn... So now i just stick to mylot...

I bet we do the same survey site. I have that problem a lot with one particular site I do. I will spend a lot of time doing the survey, and all of a sudden it will pop up that they have had enough responses for that particular survey. I'm like, why didn't you tell me that before I spent 15-20 minutes on it?!

i have had that same problem with surveys. I am on inbox dollars and send earnings. I am only continuing to get the payout which I am close to and then I am done. It took me months to take enough surveys and qualify to earn anything. I just really don't have the time for such surveys. I at least enjoy getting on my lot.
