Halloween Candy

I always keep special budget for that purpose, Grandpa Bob. As in my place also, it happened all year round where they call it as 'stock clearance sale' and the price really discounted as the festival day was over. The same things of sales activity happen after Christmas. Good price with the quality remains. I like it.

No as a matter of fact Im eating all my candy I bought for the trick or treaters yesterday. I guess they dont celebrate Halloween in this town not one kid came. So thats more for me to eat.heheheheheh I have snickers twix milkyway peanut butter cups. And some delicious red licorice!!

Wow! You have great discounts over there! The most we'd get is 50%, and still it isn't as cheap becuase it's imported. Anyway, we still take advantage of the discounted items. It's really fun to go shopping after the holidays, although I have to keep my wallet in check in case it ends up empty!

LOL!, I'm not trick or treating at our house next year, year old candy ? :/ lol

Oh--I love the day after a "holiday" sales when everything is half off or more..unfortunately it seems the pickings are then kind of slim on great things to get, but gee, I manage to find quite a bundle of stuff to get..LOL....No I didn't rush out to get more Halloween candy though...alas no trick or treaters came, so I'm already stuck with a lot of candy, and like you have one of my favorites.. yes, Reeses Peanut Butter cups...oh, well, gee, I guess I'll just Have to force myself to eat it..LOL

Hi,i just went and bought a big box full for about $25.00.My boyfriend loves to bring chips and chocolates in the woods with him to work and its just the right size for snacks here at home.I cant wait till after christmas when all the things are on sale also,hehe. Peanutjar:)

Grandpa, Grandpa, Grandpa...the last thing I need around the house is more chocolate. I like the day after Christmas though, Boxing Day is the best time to buy wrapping for next year.

Oh dear...that would be too tempting. We have Kit Kats and Smarties and some friends sent me Butterfingers which are so yummy but I've never had Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and I'm dying to try them.

I do love sales and definately look for them!! My husband and I have gone to the mall on boxing day in the past and it is absolutely crazy!! I would rather wait a couple days after the holiday and the sales are still there but not so much the mob :) As for candy, I do buy it when it is discounted like that!! I Loooooooove Chocolate! :) One other thing that I buy when there is a huge sale is clothing and shoes for my son (In larger sizes he can grow into...I just hang them in the closet!) Hi Grandpa Bob, I do love that things are always cheaper the day after the holiday, but to be honest I don't think I need anymore candy after the haul my daughter got last night lol! How did you know I went shopping for candy.lol I went to Walmart and they have 50% off, which comes to $1.00 for a regular bag. I got a few of them, but there were a lot of people doing the same thing.:) That was nice of you to get your wife her favorite candy. I got my husband his favorites which are Reeses and Snickers.

I score after christmas....I can't remember the last time I bought a bag...bows or paper full price. I also like to pick up games etc on the clearnance aisle....they come in handy the next Christmas.

I usually wait till the day after.I'm not a big candy person like i used to be but I like one every once in awhile.

The day after Christmas has become a tradition with me and hubby to head into Target and buy all our wrapping paper and cards for the following year - being tight I refuse to pay Target prices but when they are in the sale yippee a bargain and theirs are usually gorgeous. The day after Christmas is a holiday in Eng so I cant get used to here where its all over with and forgotten at midnight on Christmas Day I vote for a week long celebration :=)

I do visit the sales after Christmas for the good bargains. Its great to get items for the next holiday season at a good price. Last year, I even did well with 75% off sales, as there was a lot left in several stores in this area.

my brother usually goes to the dollar store a day or two after and buys several bags of leftover candy. m&m's,snickers,you name it. 2 or 3 for a dollar,most of the time too.

Grampa Bob I know I loved your wife for a reason. I like here shopping habbits. I also love here teast in candy. Smarties are my favorite candy. I use to keep them in the house all the time. I am dieting now so I do not buy them.
