We are planning our fall festival for our kiddos at church. It is going to be Saturday night at 4:00 and we're going to have hot dogs and chili and cheese dip and chips and all kinds of good things to eat.
The kids are going to get to play carnival games, and go on a hayride.
Then we're going to have a bonfire and roast marshmallows and make smores.
Anyone have a favorite memory involving campfires and smores?

Tell me why you can't have corn starch? I wasn't aware that it was non kosher. i'm now super familiar with what you can and can't eat if you are adhering to a Kosher diet. One of my dear friends is Jewish, and she has taught me some things. I love to learn so I can't wait to hear from you. Are you Jewish by birth or did you choose to convert? Jewish by religion only?

My kids ( now grown) both have birthdays at Thanksgiving time. I took them, and their two best friends to the State Fishing Lake one Fall to celebrate, and we made cocoa on the campfire, and had s'mores, and told family stories. I loved the childhood my kids had, and I hope they did too. They are good kids, and I loved being around them.

We have several birthday's coming up this week. Mine was last saturday. (17th) This week we have my best friend and my niece on the 22nd. My anniversary is on the 23rd. My aunt and uncle's anniverary is the 24th. My daughter's boyfriends birtday is on the 25th, as well as my grandmother's. Then on the 27th is my nephew's. All of these sometimes fall on Thanksgiving Day except for my nephew's. His is usually the weekend of Thanksgiving, which is neat because everyone is home for the holiday and we can all celebrate together.
