A Lovely Day!

I just wanted to share with all of you the news that I have had a lovely day today! I really feel that my new MP3 player had a lot to do with it. I had no trouble synching it to my laptop and downloading about 30 songs late last night. Then I listened to music until early this morning while I read. I woke up feeling fresh and relaxed. I was more ready to take on the day than I've been in a long time. I've been downstairs 3 times, and my friend and I even sat outside for a long time. We ordered food in and she came back up to my apartment with me to eat. This is so far from my normal routine that I hope it is a sign of things to come. As much as I hate leaving my apartment, I really enjoyed today.

That sounds like it was a very good change for you. Having access to music that you like is very beneficial. It speaks to us in ways that are beyond words, and does a lot to calm us, or energize us, as the case may be. It also does you a lot of good to get out and get some sunshine when you can, and fresh air too. I need to look into something like that, and get some music that is energetic, to make me move more and feel livelier.

I too had a lovely day as me and my wife visited her parents house yesterday. Her 3-year old nephew also visited that day and he's so adorable. He just had his graduation from pre-school and he was dressed in a small tuxedo-like suit. He's so cute! We gave him a treat by ordering boxes of pizza and pasta. We had fun that day and it was an experience to remember.

Music brings me so much joy. I wish my clients would play music while I am at their homes. I usually have to wait to listen to music when I am in my car driving to the next client. I have told many of my clients that music is so uplifting and it woule benefit them to listen to music of any kind even once in a while.
