For the Ladies...PJ's

Since the weather is getting colder I was wondering if you ladies prefer long gowns or pj's with top and bottom? Do you like warm jammies made with flannel material or do you sleep in pj's made of nylon or cotton or polyester?
I like to sleep in 100% cotton and alternate between gowns and top and bottom pajamas. I find the cotton material comfortable (night sweats can be a real pain) in both winter and summer. I do have on pair of fuzzie pajamas that I reserve for very cold weather...in the teens or low 20's.
What's your favorite?

Long cotton night shirts. My hubby heats up like a furnace when he sleeps. Anything more than the shirt and I sweat like an ice cube in the summer.

I hope you have a long coat nearby in winter. In college, we had fire alarms go off, so I had a coat on my chair by my bed and my shoes, too. Those fire alarms in the middle of the night make you realize what you need in an emergency. Take care

Flannel for me, PJs not nightie. I did last year get a really really soft pair of PJs in fleece but the bottoms are a little too confining - not tight but not as loose as my comfey men's flannel jammies.

I have a mattress pad heater on my bed, so I wear light weight jammies, usually the synthetic kind that slip between the sheets. Anything else seems to bind my arms and legs and keep me from rolling over. I will wear any style, as long as the fit is comfortable. I have a pair of silk pajamas hubby bought from Victoria's Secret--very tailored. I need to lose weight to wear them much, I am making the seams pop. The silk is the best for comfort. I will wear fuzzy socks to bed, because it does promote sleep. I do that whenever I think of it. It is just so very comforting.

I like to wear fuzzy ones. When I get cold I get really cold. Fuzzy jammas are the only thing that keeps me warm. I wear a sweatshirt also.

No matter what the weather is, I always wear the same thing to bed. A tank t-shirt and my undies. Fortunately, we usually have so much heat on in the apartments its warm enough to do that. Haven't really worn PJs in ages, not even when it's been -10 wind chill factor...LOL

I don't like to wear neither. I won't be able to sleep with any PJs n I feel like I'm sleeping fully clothed.

I find a fellow night sweater. I am going through the big CHANGE, I had a hysterectomy 11 years ago and they took everything but one ovary. Boy is that one ovary doing a number on me. For the last two winters I have been freezing my husband out of our room. I have been waking up on the average once an hour with night sweats. I turn the ceiling fan on to try to word off the wetness that goes along with the sweats. Then I get cold and cover up and start all over again. Its a visious cycle.
I sleep with nightgowns on because pjs are to hot. We live in CA and do not get really cold at night. Our house does get down in the 50's at night because I do not run the heater. We have not gotten any frost as of yet this season but lots of fog.

I like all-in-one (yup, like babies' onezies) terry cloth romper type things. I also like my fleese bottoms, but I wish I could have afforded fleese tops. I find night gowns and tops ride up and I wake up with some part of me freezing in the middle of the night. I toss and turn a lot, so the all in ones or something that really clings are best. Take care
