Would your husband carry your handbag?

This is an on-going 'argument' that i have with my dear husband.
It all started after we have children...
When my kidz were small (during when they still could not walk) and you have to carry them...they always insist that mommy carries them and not papa... i find it difficult to carry my handbag and hold a chlid at the same time, and i would always ask my husband to carry my handbag for me... and he would always 'make a face'... the 'man dont carry handbag' look.
But when i look around then, and now... i see a lot of husbands doing this for their wife... some dont even mind carrying it like the ladies do...
Does this ever happen to you ?
Would your dear husband carry your handbag for you....?

It was never an issue between my husband and me. Though of course, he woul opt to carry the kid instead of the bag if only he has a choice. But he will carry my handbag if I obliged him. I guess its a gentleman act to do.

Yes he will because I am one woman who does not use a handbag. I use a backpack. Handbags are too small for me. Too many things to carry around. So my husband and me both have a backpack each. The only time you see me with a handbag is during special dinners and function and then again I would sling it across but if its necessary my husband would carry it for me..probably sling it the way I do to.

Hey but it's true! Men shouldn't carry handbags! :P
Nowadays, I see many young dating couples walking around with the boyfriends carrying the handbags.
YUCKS!! just screamed in my mind. Unless that girl has a genuine problem carrying her own bag, she should carry it herself.
And don't complain if the bag is big or heavy - it's YOUR bag so either make it small and light or just don't bring or you jolly well carry it yourself.
This is the 21st century. Men and women are equal.

Most of the time I won't let my husband carry my handbag. Because he is a very careless person. I am afraid the stealer will steal the wallet if he carries my handbag. Usually I take care of my handbag or something we buy in hand, and he carries our son.

well u can hold the handbag and your husband can hold the baby since he's holding nothing right. Ya I am a man actually still a boy but I do feel weird to hold a handbag so ur husband probably have the same feeling i have but its my mom handbag.

my husband seldom does that for me,especially just one handbag without others on me.but if i asked,he would carry it.
of course, when i carry my son with my arms.you know ,he is so heavy that i couldn't insist on him,and he is like your kidz ,he likes momy more.so i have to ask for a hand of my husband. if he do not,i would leave baby to him. :)

My husband dosent have any problem in helping me wherever he can and carrying a bag along is no exception. He would be there to help me out when ever he sees that i have extra load. Rather he insists several times that the children should walk on their own and need not be lifted by me. Sensing his annoyance my daughers too would opt for walking unless they are very tired.

My husband always carries my handbag when I tell him to,because I am hodling my sleeping child.I rarely ask him to do so on other occasions.My husband really does not care for the "men don;t do this thing" type of things..he always sees to it that I am comfortable.But we do co-operate on most issues so that is also one reason why he helps me out in small things like this.

My husband has carried my hand bag on occasion. Sometimes when we are shopping and I need to go to the dressing room to try something on he will hold it for me. I think this is very sweet.

My husband will carry my purse when I ask him to. He doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Which is really good ! !

If he was with me, then yes my partner would. On his own however, he would never agree to such a thing!

It's a guy's thing. Not macho, I guess. Mine is a Marine. He would try and avoid carrying my handbag if he can. But he has surprised me on some occasions...and OFFERED to carry it for me..but he holds it like it's a dirty diaper! LOL!!! You gotta know he really loves me then, huh? :)
