Workroom Bathroom Etiquette

OK, I started a discussion earlier about a problem in the restroom in the office building I work in. One of my dear friends suggested I put up some etiquette guidelines for the women who also use the restroom. So far, this is what I think I should include: Always make sure the toilet has flushed everything. If something lingers, flush again. If you sprinkle when you tinkle, be a sweetie and wipe the seatie. Replace the paper towel holder with a fresh roll if you use the last of it. (same with the toilet paper) Any other suggestions out there???

Wrap your used sanitary napkins or tampons in some toilet paper, or the plastic they are packaged in when disposing them in an open trash recepticle. We all dont need to see this. Its your business if your flow is right or not. Bay Lay Gray xx

I do this by habit - since I do it at home - and so far everyone in our hallway is pretty good about this. I guess I'm spoiled in that respect!

Yeah! I do too! lol I dont think my hubby wants to look at it lying in the trash and I know I dont! Thats good that the women you work with are respectful here. That does make it nicer. Bay xx

Be considerate with your feminine hygeine products. Dispose of them appropriately. Your co workers will thank you, and so will any guests. It all seems like common sense,or common courtesy, but evidently is not.

Fortunately, we don't seem to have that problem. I don't know that it's ever been an issue anywhere that I've worked, but I would be disgusted by it. I'll add it to my list - you never know, some people might think that if it's NOT on the list it's ok to do...

If I'm understanding this right...it's a bathroom used by both men and women? If so, you might also add putting the seat down when the men are through...that's always a problem with men. For the men or women, if they leave an unpleasant odor in the bathroom be nice enough to either open a window or spray some air freshner so the next person doesn't pass out. Nah, this one is just for women, the men have their own - which apparently is in worse shape. My boss complains about it quite a bit. I had forgotten about the smells... We had a pregnant girl once and I tell ya, you could ALWAYS tell when she'd been in there. There used to be an air freshener in there, but it was never replaced. I might have to take that up with the building owner/manager.

I know someone who always used to stop at a local convenience store to do a #2 and man, you could just about see a green rolling out of that bathroom. Horrible!! "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
