Again this morning I got an email from a caring friend that was hoping to help find a missing child. It was a hoax according to Snopes. It is a waste of our time and resources to pass these on. The time spent on one email could be helping someone or thing that needs it. Please friends if you recieve one of these please check at http://www.snopes.com/ before forwarding it and then reply to all that it is a hoax so they will know. This is just another way that kind caring people can help each other not get taken! My love to all xoxoxoxo

hi raydene! but my question is, why would they want to post something like that? i think only a person with a sick mind will do that, i mean posting that a certain child is missing and it isn't true. this person has absolutely nothing worthwhile to do. sometimes i wish that these misdemeanors should get penalized, just for the heck that they have caused other people. because if not, these people just disrupt our lives with their nonsense, jsut to get attention. are people that desperate?

I do know that one was done by a friend and it was not intended to be emailed to anyone but her 15 year old friend.. I am sure there are lots of reasons.. xoxoxo

Snopes.com is one of my favorite places to go online. I check out anything I get in an e-mail that sounds just a little strange to me. I get on there, and I just browse and browse. I agree, the forwarded hoaxes are sad, and annoying. Unfortunately, some of my friends do not appreciate it when I point out that they are forwarding hoaxes.

Hi raydene! That is not a very nice thing to do. Why do people create such hoax in the first place? It is like crying wolf and what if the time really comes when it is for real and people will just ignore it because they got tired of the hoaxes. good thing there is Snopes. Thanks for the information and I will pass this on to my relatives in the states. Take care and have a nice day! :)
