Slipping/Todays Hot Topics

I never check to see if my discussions are in Hot Topics. You have done extremely well getting so many of your discussions there. I guess you can relate very well to lots of people. I'm just looking at hot topics now. Are they in the order of highest to lowest? I am looking for my discussion on ATM's which I started yesterday. That seemed to be popular as I received a lot of responses quickly, & am now up to 27. Anyway, I looked at the top 30 & couldn't find. Maybe I need to start another discussion & monitor it for the first 24 hours. The problem being that the majority of My Lotters live in the northern hemisphere & are asleep when I start a discussion.

I don't even know if I've ever had a hot topic LOL I just post what I want to talk about and see who responds. "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Actually, most of the time, I have never checked to see if any of mine have made the Top 10. Lately I am lucky if I can get more than about 10 posts a day in here, and about 3 new discussions at most a week ever started. I just have so many other things I am doing online anymore as well.

I'm afraid my dull topics never make the hot list! I really don't know for sure, though. I seldom look at those--I go right to discussions my friends started and by the time I do some of those, I need to get off and do something else!

hi again grandpa bob. Yes, I had the honor of seeing some of my discussions got into the top discussions and some of them got into the hot topics, too. It made me happy to see them there. But lately, I'm more into responding to discussions rather than start a new one. I haven't been able to reply back to those who responded to my last discussion and it has always been my rule to answer each one of them. So, unless I've answered them all back, I'm just going to respond to discussions.

well to be honest with you i do look at the top discussions and reply to them but i am so worried about my friends discussions and replying to them that i forget to check and see if mine were there or not.if they are thats really great and i appreciate all that my friends do for me,if they are not then i will just keep working my butt off and maybe they will just appear one day and suprise me.have a great day.pattie

I don't even know if any of mine have ever been in the top 10. I don't really ever look to see. I do enjoy reading and responding to your discussions though.

Oh Grandpa Bob. its a old discussion. strill im will answr as i like it. I am the unlucky one here. i never see any of my discussion in today's hot. i do not know how they calculate it to be there. i have seen many yours almost each day.

I have never had a top 10 discussion. It surprised me, as I have a topic with about 50 posts, so it certainly can't be number of replies. It was a well written topic, so I no longer even look to see if my questions are in the top ten.

Far as I know, none of my discussions got into the Top 10 but I don't mind. Long as a few ppl respond to them, that's all I care about.

I seldom notice if any of my discussions make the top ten or even the first two pages...lol. I think I'm slipping also due to being busy with work, family and other things.

I don't necessrily care if my topics are rated highly at all. I usually don't even start topics up and when I do it's because I have somethign on my mind that I need answers to. I do enjoy get best responses since I sometimes put alot of thought into what I write. Wished my star was higher though :( but what can I do :0)
