Certain issues have caused me to rethink the browser I use most often, so I am considering trying out a new one. The browser I have been using for a long time just seems to be falling short lately. I found several others that come highly recommended, so I am going to try one. Do you feel you are getting the most from your browser? Would you change to one that is more efficient?

I feel great with my browsers. Yes I use two of them. It might end up being three at least to test drive one I've found out about. I'm getting alot out of both firefox and opera. The most recent thing I found about opera was the posting issues on mylot. I don't lose my long posts if I make a mistake or if I hit back on my browser accidentally. It also stays in case of a bad submission or a character/font error.
If I could find something even better I would at least try it out. Nothing wrong with having a few browsers on hand in case some websites wont work on them. Opera does have an issue with some sites but not that many. Firefox is pretty good but its more mainstream and its becoming more vulnerable due to this.

I have been using Firefox for quite some time, progamer, and just recently started having some problems with it. Maybe it is as you say-due to how popular it is getting. I am now trying out Flock, but, even though I like it I think it will take up too much of my screen with the Media Stream application. I will see how I feel about it by the end of the day. Honestly, I have become afraid to use IE7 because I always manage to pick up nasty spyware when I use it.

Usually when discussing the topic of web browser, people cannot come to a clear census as to which one is seemingly better. It is almost as if people who are die-hard firefox fans only stick to firefox, and people who are die-hard internet explorer fans, will stick to IE7. I personally have used firefox, and am quite unsatisfied with it look and appeal. I find IE7 to have a better look for IE7. As far as reliability goes, I find there to be no difference. It is all a matter of personal preference.

I must disagree, bstinson, since I found it impossible to understand the tabbed browsing feature in IE7. I have no problem navigating with Firefox.

Since Firefox has upgraded the last couple of times...twice in about a month... I've been having problems. Programmes won't load, the sites I'm using freeze, I cannot browse.
I've been using Firefox for ages now and not sure what to do. Hopefully, you'll get some answers here that I can relate to as well.

Yes, Ms Tickle, Firefox discovered a problem shortly after the last upgrade, so it is supposed to be fixed now. You might have to do what I did. I uninstalled my Firefox and then went and downloaded and installed it again. It is doing much better now.

You can try Opera other than IE and Firefox. Like Firefox, Opera is also secured to use and it is very fast above all other browsers.
I have been using Opera for a very long time and have never had experienced any problems at all. :-)

I have tried Opera, braveheart, and found it more difficult to navigate with, so I went back to Firefox.

I have recently changed to Mozilla Firefox. I was a longtime Netscape user, but find this to be the superior choice.

Hello!
Before I used to only using one browser which is the explorer, I was satisfied by it's performance but when my brother told me that it's not the best one and it's eating up a lot of memory i've decided I should look and use another browser. Then I met firefox, so far I like it and i'm getting the most of it. I like firefox as I can change the theme and look of my browser and can add some add ons into it.
Since some websites works only in certain browser, I do use both of them. I've been using firefox for months now but I wouldn't mind changing into another browser if it's more efficient and functional and less hassle.
Take care. *smile*
ciao! c",)

Thanks for your insight, fab. I am a long-time Firefox user, but have been having some problems with it lately. That is why I am shopping around for something else.
