Find out before it is too late - to the ladies only

Have you ever gone to doctors for problems you were having with your body, but they didn't do anything about it? I have gone to doctors for 5 years about female problems that I was having. But they told me that what I was going through was normal. Come to find out that I had 10 fibroid tumors in my uterus. Four of those fibroids were big as an orange. Due to this, I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. I had so many tumors that it could have taken my life because they were stuck to my blood vessels and caused internal bleeding. So ladies, when you have your yearly checkup (if you know what I mean), please ask the doctor to conduct a pelvic utrasound every now and then. It doesn't have to be done every year, but maybe once every two or three years. Just to be on the safe side. You do not want to end up like me. You see, I never had children, but I wanted children. Now I can never have children at all. Isn't that something?

Hi princessta! I'm so sorry to hear about your hysterectomy. Sometimes it's really better to be paranoid and have your doctor check you for even minor problems we have than to learn it at a later stage which might be incurable already. Iw ill follow you advice of having an annual check up and a pelvic ultrasound. Thank you for sharing this information.
