dear mylotters, u just gotta try these new ziploc zip'n steam microwave cooking bags!! i saw it on tv a few times, and i knew it was a new creative invention..and it WAS.. just take any raw veggies you have, pop them into the ziploc zip'n steam bag, you don't even add water!!because the moisture in the vegetables is what steams them. they come out so crisp & savory!! the best corn on the cob i ever had for sure!! but please, though there is a warning on the bag DO NOT let your younger children use these bags themselves!! the steam could burn their little fingers, and it also says to leave it in the micro for awhile before removing the item because of the hot hot steam on the bag. has anyone else tried these yet??? stanzi ps. it also comes with a sheet of recipes in the box!!

dear friend, look to ziploc brand zip'n steam microwave cooking bags, they are in the supermarket next to all plastic food bags. there will be recipes card in them and a discount coupon for your next purchase. they come in a slim foil package in medium or large cooking bags. stanzi

I love these bags. Bzz Agent sent me free bags and it was the best item I have ever received from them. Its a great way to serve a low calorie meal.
I cook vegetables, chicken and hot dogs in them regularly. Its so easy and the house doesn't get hotter. My favorite item is corn on the cob, as it comes out perfectly every time.

As there has been a question of the safety of cooking in the microwave with plastic containers I would be reluctant to try this product. I still prefer the old standard steaming process. If you don't have a steamer handy you can use pot, a baking rack and a cover. It works like a charm.
