My wife prepares (as in many homes) certain breakfast items like DOSA and IDLI (the common breakfast items in south india). Besides this, we also have on somedays, cornflakes with fruits, toast and butter, sandwiches.

Our breakfast usually consists of rice. Rice is a staple food here in the Philippines. We have it not only for breakfast, but also for lunch and dinner. Our viand which goes with rice usually becomes varied. Sometimes, we have tocino, longganisa, bacon, noodles, ham, or fish, depending upon their availability. If ever we have leftover from our previous meal (dinner the previous night); we recook them and eat them. On a few occasions, I cook porridge or champorado for breakfast. Or at times, we also have bread and coffee. It mainly depends on our budget.

My normal breakfast meal is rice with fried eggs or bread with some toppings on it.
Of course, I don't forget to drink my hot cup of tea or chocolate.:-)
