Best Years in Life

From the time you started to understand yourself and the things around you, when was the best year/s in your life that you cherish most. I am happy during my childhood days, I am with my parents, my brothers and sisters, my pets and all the people I love. As I grow older I, sometimes I am not with my whole family, I have to study and work far from our place, and oh how I missed them, when my parents were gone, I am missing them terribly, even now, when I am quite old, I still linger on the early years of my life.

The best years in my life was before I started school. When I was playing in the field catching grasshoppers and cashing dragonflies. It was the time when I never had to worry about anything. I was so carefree. I was digging for worms for bait and going going fishing at the irrigation. When I catch a fish it felt heavenly. I have a very happy childhood that I cherish so much and always look back and smile at those good ole years.

That's true, we can only wish but I do hope to provide the same opportunity to my future kids.

Like you do, I like my childhood days. When we grow up we are taking care of our own responsibility to our parents to our family and to our co workers. How I wish to be a child forever, but thats only a wish. Ill just be happy anywhere I am. thanks for the response.

Except from the day I got my first toy, the happiest moment in my life was when I got myself out of this thing I’ve been doing because of temptation. This thing is a dreaded act like nobody would want to do it. Am sorry to make you wonder about it but I’ll just keep a secret okay. It’s been more than a year that I stayed away from it and I’m so happy for that. :) Because I think that it’s the biggest mistake I’ve been doing in my life. so I guess the best, as far as I can remember, is this past few years.

looking back I would have to say between the ages of 16 - 18 were my favorite. Before responsiblities to tend with. Just having fun with friends and family. being an older teenager but not having none of the responsiblities of adulthood.

So you like your teenager days. Some like the younger years, some like the teenager years and some like the old and retiring years. Now you have your own responsibilites, more bills to pay and something to look for. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

Strange that is. When we are not there we want to be there but when we are there we want to go back. How time flies. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late response.

My best years is the first five years of my marriage. I just finished it two months ago. I met my present husband in the beginning of my undergraduate period, and one year later we married. He is not the exact person I desired at the beginning. But he was so considerable and would do anything for me and I could totally be myself and feel very happy and lucky. But things just kept changing. Five years later, I just feel less and less passion from my husband. I wish one day I will just write down those good days and I can remember it forever.

Sorry to hear that. But how about going back with the last five years youre happy with him, so that you will know what goes wrong along the way. Who knows the passion between you and him will go back. Try to find ways and things to win him back. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

of course, those are the days I still long for. No question about it. Your growing years are like the wonder years; everyday is like a picnic and there's so much fun you discover everyday. The balance is just perfect and you know you got a very safe hiding place behind your mom where no one can touch or scare you. You're the king of the world there and there are so many wonderful memories associated with growing up that it just refuses to fade away

Yes, most of us like our younger years. What we can do is to duplicate what our parents are doing to us to our future children so they can enjoy the same. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

Hi bagumbayan, Best years in life, as far as I am concerned is when you have your family. Because bringing up your kids and maintaining life with your wife is the greatest responsibility. I feel very happy because I have fullfilled my responsibilities successfully. My children are very well educated, working with top companies, earning handsome salary. I am enjoying now, at times I recollect those best years of my responsibilities.

Being a child was cool, but I think that my teen years were the best years of my life. A lot of people think that high school was awful or had a horrible time during those years, but I remember them vividly. I had incredible friends, all I really had to worry about was a (very) part-time job, schoolwork, and keeping up at football practice. We had it all working: football games on fridays, out of the house on Saturday and Sunday. None of these bills or responsibilities, just my life in front of me to enjoy.

So you like your teen years before. Now,like me we have to think about the bills, the work, and other mature responsibilities. Thats what we get for getting older. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

i cherish the time i've completed my diplomat in London and had to make my parents proud by making contribution to some of their financial responsibilities. they feel they have done a good job and proper child care. it'was the time i understood responsibility for a person. however, i'm still in that transition and on my own now. see how i can make my own responsibility by taking care of my future kids as they did.

Very nice of you. Youre parents were really proud of you and who will not. When you became a parent too then you will know the enjoyment youve given to your parents, and your kids should follow you in the near future. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.

Right now are the best years of my life, as we retired just a few years ago and have had time now to begin to get organized and have a routine where we are getting used to doing whatever we want all of the time. As a child there was too much being told what to do and not enough freedom and as a young adult not enough money and in middle age to much time lost to a career. Now is the perfect time.

Hope I will be like you too. I like those happy kids days I have. Right now, although still working and enjoying life, to me it is just a cycle, working, living, working, living, enjoyment is not that much. Hope I can still savor the enjoyment when I was a small kid. Thanks for the response and sorry for the late comment.
