Warmth is a very important thing. I am glad you care for your neighbors in the community.

It depends what you classify as 'should be doing'. My chores and work take priority and let me tell you, myLot has made me really slack. About the only thing I do properly is care for my animals. Housework has to be done and I'm pleased to say I've been catching up lately and I'm being thorough but I'm way behind.
Online, there are all my email accounts to keep up with and there is also another site I visit daily which I'm also addicted to but it's not important except for the small amount of time spent contacting my friends there. (I'm hooked and it can be such a time waste...lol).
I'd like to focus more on myLot but for me it's hard to juggle everything. It would be great to have broadband so I could hop on whenever I want rather than be limited to 4 hour sessions.

Having a four hour limit would be a bummer. Any broadband in your future?

Believe it or not, there is an optic fibre cable right outside my front door which goes to the school in the next block and the Rural Transaction Centre across the road. The company tell me there is no call for broadband here...lol. The cheapest satelleite connection only allows me a 500mb per month download which I use up within the the fist 4-5 days. However they keep sending me brochures saying ALL Australia has access and what a great job they are doing supplying affordable access to all ....grrrr!

Errrr, that's easy for me. I am on My Lot, Mycashguide, etc a lot. This prevents me from doing the ironing, changing the sheets on the bed, etc.

You are asking the wrong person, I should be getting ready for work and I am sitting here doing this.
I wish I could help...but you just taught me about freerice and it is cool. I only work 9 hours today..I will have to get back on it later tonight.

Deb, you could be my twin. I sometimes get out the door late, because something online grabs me. A short day for me is also nine hours, counting travel time.

My days average about 12 hours plus travel...which is about an hour 15 to an hour and a 1/2 if the weather is good and there are no traffic problems.
The other day, we had a dusting of snow, it was early and the trip became 55 minutes one way.
So with travel my days go 13 1/2 to 16 hours. I wish I got paid a bit more..so I could work a bit less over time.

I feel so overwhelmed lately with doing so much to get ready for winter..My boys are helping but it is alot. Past years my husband took care of getting someone to do these things but this year I do not have the extra money to hire so we are doing it ourselves. Everything is so up in the air right now..

You are "juggling" with everything up in the air. Pats on the back to the boys for helping. I feel so behind on stuff I do not know where to start. Cooking and packing today.

Let me count the things! Oh, that is very good. But hubby is doing something that not only helps others but he is sharpening his brain, so these things happen, don't they. Good for hubby for doing what feels good once in a while and good for you for being so understanding. And then, too, it gave you a good idea for a new discussion to start on myLot.
