Which do you prefer? I remember years ago eating Pompano, while living in Florida, and it was the best fish I've ever eaten. I love the texture and taste of fried fish and eat it regularly. Deep, fried shrimp is one of my favorite dishes.

Hi, Carolbee. Thanks for making me hungry with this discussion. I prefer baked fish. But when I lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast we used to eat a fish called mullet a lot. I prefer mullet fried over baked.

I prefer fried fish but it's not as healthy. Lately I've been eating baked with different spices. Thanks for responding.

Baked fish in my country would be a grill fish on the charcoal which we marinated with some spices sauce. But I think what you meant with baked here is a fish which baked in the oven right?! If it is the case, then I would prefer my fried fish as I never bake any fish in my oven yet. But for me the main thing to make us love our fish no matter how they are cooked is the spices which we used in our cooking preparation. For my fried fish, I love the fish to be marinated with some salt, pepper and some turmeric powder.

Yep, I was referring to baked fish as baked in the oven. I do prefer fried fish but know it's not as healthy as baked. The way you make fish sounds so yummy. Might have to try it. Thanks for responding.

I prefer fried fish as it far more delicious. As fried fish is rather oily so I don’t take it so often. Sometimes I steam the fish with seasoned ginger, apple vinegar and some vegetables. Curry fish is another yummy dish in my place. My son likes sweet and sour fish I that cook very much as I know kid always tends to take sweetish food. We are used to take these dishes together with plain rice.

Fried fish is very tasty but very fat too so I try not to eat it that way too often When I bake my fish I usually do it "papillote" meannign wrap it along with vegetables, herbs, lemon , maybe sauce in aluminum foil ... that way all the flovors stay inside and really binds together and it s very yummy and healthy too ... especially since I don t add oil or sauce ... the "sauce" gets done with tthe lemon and diced tomatoes ... you can add in any vevegtable you like so it s versatile You can also cook soem rice on the side and serve it along

I love fried fish and I just eat fried fish because when I was a child I rarely ate any fish. I love the fried fish in KFC,though my mother thinks it as a junk food.I always order fried fish, salad and cola in KFC.

Fried fish!! i remember a simple cod(you can actually replace cod for haddock or other white meat fish) recipe i got just whisk with egg, sugar, flour and salt. Fried until its golden brown. Fried shrimp is also yummy but i like them fried with a little butter and rhum on it then reduced the sauce... (Damn all this food talking making me hungry xD.)
