Stomach Movements

I've been sitting here on the floor all morning trying to catch up on all my emails, mylot discussions and responses and every now and then I can feel movement in my tummy, like how it was when I was pregnant with my son, slight kicking LOL. I know I am not pregnant (well I think I'm not LOL) and it's not my tummy growling either as I've just finished eating my breakfast. What do you think it could be? It happens every few days when I'm sitting or lying down. It feels weird too. Does this happen to you?

Maybe you have gas? Have aliens invaded your tummy for a party? I can't think of very many other possibilities. Hey, maybe you are pregnant? How cool would that be? Little Anna is on her way,he,he, LOL.

I just think that it is a beautiful name. Depending on how you pronounce it. Don't pay me no mind though. I am just having fun, he, he.

I get the same thing from time to time. It usually turns out to just be gas. It is more noticeable when I'm lying down or sitting...anything that compresses my belly at all.

It is kind of funny...although I also remember my 3rd pregnancy being messed up in the beginning so I didn't know I was pregnant for a long time. I'd felt those funny little movements but dismissed them until the lady at my first ultrasound said "Umm, you're 17 weeks along, not 9 weeks!"

I have had it happened to me and like you, I thought I was pregnant. I was disappointed when I was not. I figured it was sympathy growls or movements. Or maybe it was some horrible trick my stomach is playing on me. I sure hate it when my stomach does that. I guess you must have a laptop because my computer is on the desk. It also could be that your stomach has not settled down after breakfast.

That could of been it too since I had just eaten when I felt the movements. I think it might have been gas after all :)

For the past few months I've been having these little tummy movements. I get them every now and then, every few days. When I first started having them I thought of the possibility of being pregnant, but no such luck. :( When my tummy growls it is a different feeling then when I get these little "baby kicks". That's why I thought I was pregnant as I felt this movement 3 times before (last one was a miscarriage). Are you 100% sure you're not pregnant? :P

Hi sacmom. Actually I really don't know if I am. I actually think it might of been gas or even muscle spasms as I don't feel like I am pregnant, but then again I should take a test just incase huh? I'll see if my monthly comes next month and if not then I'll do a home test. thanks for responding!

This sounds very interesting. It must be a baby, what else could it be? I am just kidding. I honestly don't know. My stomach has never moved. It has done everything except move. It has growled, it has squealed, it has ached, it has bloated, it has itched and I am sure lucky that it has not done all these things at one and the same time, or else I wouldn't be here posting messages on Mylot. But it has never moved. :) Perhaps, someone else might be able to help you out.

haha @ itch. I hated it when it itched especially after I had my son and the stretchmarks that were left.

There are all kind of weird things that can happen from your abdominal area. It could be gas...or just your intestines...I wouldn't worry to much about it unless you are having pain...bleeding or anything else like that...If it bothers you and keeps up I would ask your doctor about it?

Yah I'm definitely thinking it's gas. I've gotten that feeling before. It feels like it's traveling sometimes...that's usually because it is!

Yes, I have had it happen to me too, and I'm not pregnant. I think it is muscle spasms or something. I have also felt pulsating in various parts of my body like arms and legs. I think it is normal. I never felt it before, only the last few years. But it happens almost daily. Never did ask what it was.

Yes, this has happened to me and I must admit it surprises me every time! Muscle spasms is what my doctor told me they were, and I am glad that they're not painful! Well, maybe a brother or sister for Maddy is on the way...? Happy happy joy joy!!!
