They are part of the family too. Bingo even gets his own stocking LOL
We fill it with dog toys & treats.

We usually buy our cats some small toys, treats and give them a special treat for their Christmas dinner. They even have their own little stocking hanging up with ours. We also celebrate birthdays for them too. They're a part of the family too :)

Celebrating their birthdays is fun and it helps me keep track of how old they are! Since I don't know the actual date of birth for either of my cats (one came from a pet store and another from the pound), I tried to figure it out as closely as I could and then just picked a date. They always get a special birthday meal and some new treats or toys. They love playing with balloons and streamers too, so if I have extras around the house I'll usually put some out for them to have fun with :)

Oh yes! I have 16 pets - each one has their own stocking. My Grey Parrot has a 2 foot one! My Saint Bernard and Pomeranian get a stocking full of treats. Last year they got a huge box of toys also. Then my ferrets and other pets have their own Christmas Tree with presents under it + their stockings. One year the ferrets got a huge cat furniture house and a kid's playside. Crazy, I know. LOL.

We always buy them something. Last year we went overboard because Walmart had these huge stockings full of treats. We bought one for each dog and they lasted for half the year giving them a treat a day. One of the dogs loves to play so wee also got her a couple of balls. She loves to retrieve them and she will do it for hours if you let her. She was tha happiest of all.

We usually get them some treats. If I see a new toy they might want I get it too! It all goes in their stocking though, they don't get to unwrap anything!

Goodness yes! In fact my friends buy presents for my dogs and sign them from Auntie or Uncle... its really quite fun and funny. So no I don't think it is dumb at all!
