I've come up with a solution to a problem I have and it was suggested that I patent the idea/solution. Maybe even design a better solution if I had the product available. But since I'm just a former file clerk/data entry person I have NO clue how to do something like that. So, I'd appreciate any suggestions from my mylot friends on how to do this! HELP!!!

I would say to go check out the government patent office website.

There are many sites on the net that can walk you through it step by step.. It can be a very costly .......but sometime if your idea is good you can find a company that will partner with you..They will make and promote the product for a portion of the profits.. Good Luck Honey.. xxooxxoxoxoxo

Thanks for the info - I was actually starting to think of companies that might find this idea interesting, I think there might be a few.

maybe you could just promote the product by word of mouth.

I would think a lawyer would point you in the right direction for that.
