How accepting of people and the quirks they may have are you?

I know myself..I have a million and one things that can set me apart as odd, crazy, ridiculous, completetly out of it and so when I see someone else acting out something in a quirky way..I try to accept that that is how they are..
So someone likes to slurp their drinks really loud and belches at the table and clicks their pen at a meeting endlessly..are you patients with such people?
Do you immediately begin to formulate in your mind the quickest way to escape from the presence of such people?
Do you have any bad habits that you really tend to push aside..?

Take a look at my name; that should answer your question. Tiny Tim was the epitome of odd, weird, and eccentric (R.I.P.) I actually prefer eccentric people over what society calls the "norm." Eccentrics are much more fun and exciting and add a twist to life! I should know; I myself, am eccentric.

Good for you ...it's been awhile since I have been to mylot..busy with work..
Glad you make friends of the marginalizes..it says much of your character..don't leave
anyone else out when you are reaching out to those who are marginalized.

No, I never leave anyone out. I just feel more accepted by the "weird" crowd - I fit in better. If anything, people of the societal norm are always leaving me out of the clique.

Hello littlefrancisian,Thanks for your post.First of all I choose my friends or about the availability of my presence very carefully by self analysis if I am suitable for them or if they are suitable for me according to my tastes likes and dislikes.I am an extrovert guy and I have a huge and huge number of real life friends all over the world and you can well understand that all of them are not according to my
likes and dislikes, but as we are social animal we cant live alone, so I mix with them all, at the same time I made my points very clear to each of them according to my own likes and dislikes, fortunately they dont disturb me or make any sort of pranks with me and they try to adjust with me and sometimes when they behave like you have mentioned I simply ignore them to adjust with them and if I see them drunk out of control I leave that place immediately and the next morning they call up and appologise,may be I am succesful to make these type of people understand that I never ever have to depend on them
under any situations of life rather they might loose a real friend and wellwisher.Thanks again.

Hello littlefrancisian,Thanks for your reply and ofcourse yesss we have a group of solid friends,we share equal likes and disikes with sense of responsibity and equal reciprocations with lot of commonsense, and we can trust each other and no place of ego between us as all of us are either childhood friends or early college life friends and each has different professions needed to rule the world lol like Politician,Doctor,Lawyer,a Professor,Cop ,Scientist,a hero in the mainstream film industry etc lol,not joking but I am serious lol and by the blessings of God all of us are verymuch successful in our own career, may be we dont get time to meet in person all the time due to our busy work schedule but we rush
immediately all together however busy or wherever we are to attend the friend who needs us in a problamatic situation in his life,and we fight together to solve that problem. May be this friendship has been succesful cause all of us
are guys lol and luckily the friends who are already married their wives too has accepted us all from their heart and they are part of our group now and finally we dont have anysort of jealosy between us cause everyone of us reached the position we are now with real hard work and lot of struggle as we have witnessed each others success and everybody of our group understands life is not smooth cakewalk.Happy belated Thanks giving.

I accept people for who they are. What's important to me is that they are not doing something that could ruin me. We all have flaws, we all have bad habits. So, I think we have to be understanding and patient to people who has some annoying acts. For as long as annoying people don't harm me, I won't mind what they do. They can sing in a bad tone, they can dance with one foot, they can gargle their saliva, they can act like a horse in front of me all the time. I don't mind at all. LOL! :0)

I think I am pretty excepting. Depends on the quirk. I am always curious and want so to know what and why.
