Why Does It Take So Long To get Paid?

I have been with InBoxDollars and Send Earnings a long time. Finally in October I decided to cash in. My plan was to use the money to add to my christmas fund. I requested $68.48 from InboxDollars on Oct. 1st and $72.98 from Sendearnings on Oct. 2nd. This is minus the prossesing fee. ( which I find stupid). Plus why can't they use paypal? Anyway my checks will both be sent out on December 3rd. Why does it take so long? Has anyone else been paid by these two sites? I also think the surveys take to long, for just a dollar. I got so I just click the paid emails. Any help here would be appreciated.
