Pork, Poultry, Game or other ?

Will you be having the traditional holiday menu served in the traditional holiday-decorated homes all across traditional cities worldwide, or will your meal go against all traditional holiday themes and supercede anything similar or traditional of years gone by ? Will you be having a baked glazed ham? Or a Rosemary-Sage rubbed Tenderloin of Pork or even a Standing Rib Roast dripping with orage marmelade and pineapple with cloves sunk into the meat? Will it be the same kind of Thanksgiving turkey but dressed differently for xmas with cute little stockings placed on its little leggies ? How bout a goose or huge duck instead all gift-wrapped in black cherry sauce or orange peking ? Perhaps it could be that fine upstanding venision rump roast you got when the ole man or woman of the house not afraid to hit a juicy BAMBI with a 30-06 scored a nice 8 point racker male and we all ate good ! Whatever your holiday meal is, I wanna know . . . Happy Chanukah, Xmas, Quanzae, and whatever else we all celebrate worldly ! sharing the light, Miss Erica Hidvegi, the Enlightenment Advisor, B.A. Psych/M.A. Transpersonal Studies- Cnslng/Author, Artist, Photographer, Entrepreneur & Freelance extraordinaire

hi erica. and happy new year. the goose was superb. i labored to keep an eye on it all night and it was soooo good. i'm glad you reminded me of the different entrees outside of turkey and ham. i want duck now, and perhaps rabbit. quail eggs, venison...my cravings have changed so much these past months. its all because of adopting better eating habits and making healthier choices. cleanses helped too. a great start to a new year.

You know you are on to something by mentioning venison for xmas dinner, a nice thick slab from a roast with potatoes, carrots, gravy, onions, turnips and parsnips. With my favorite brussel sprouts and tammy knows how to make 'em ! ooooh boy is it dinner yet ?

Thumper must have got wind of the plan to find Bambi and geuss what the menu changed for the last night of 2007, we are having fish, chicken, roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts (tammy's way, yummy), onions, asparagus, noodles and sauce and even chocolate mousse or fondue or whatever that yummy dessert made last night ? Oh boy dinner is only 9 and a half hours away . . . and the year is over in less than twelve ! sharing the light and happy holidays, Miss Erica Hidvegi, the Enlightenment_Advisor, B.A. Psych/M.A. Transpersonal Studies- Cnslng/Author, Artist, Photographer, Entrepreneur & Freelance extraordinaire http://www.myforevergreen.org/mindfood/FrequenSea/products.html

Well this will be the first year I am not cooking for Christmas. I will be going to my brothers house. i'm not sure what he is making. I think ham. My traditional Christmas dinner is a pork roast wrapped in bacon, and lots of garlic & peppercorn. Surrounding the roast would be baby red potatoes, baby onions and baby carrots. Also on the side I would have collard green, and onion cheese bread. As for dessert that changes every year. Happy Holidays!!!

My family's full of picky eaters; no one really likes red meat and/or fish. So we usually have turkey for Christmas.
