So pretty

Yuck! Snow! It is 52 degrees here in Missouri right now. We have a 40 percent chance of rain tonight and it is only supposed tog et down to about 47 degrees. Looking at our 10 day forecast there is no snow in sight, but a lot of rain. I have not gotten any outside lights up yet. I was planning on doing it today, but I got lazy. Maybe tomorrow.

We were supposed to get snow or ice, but so far we have just grayness and wind, lots of wind. I bet it is blowing clear from here to where you are. It has been noisy and rough all day. I still am beginning to feel a lot like Christmas myself. I guess with the wind you look like your snow is falling sideways.

Well you got your snow now are you happy?LOL It is pretty. Right now it is really cold here and we are expecting snow tommorrow morning. But we wont get anything like you got!

Ok, we're getting slammed here too, and although it's very pretty, I have to drve home from work in it in about 5 hours. I'm not looking forward to it one bit. So, grandpa, enjoy, and wish me well driving all the way home.

It just doesn't feel right to go Christmas shopping without snow. We got some last night, so I might head out to the stores later today.

Well you are just the lucky one aren't you? I'm thrilled that it hasn't hit us yet here in Boston and I think it's too cold to snow anyway! I'm betting it misses us....(hope hope hope!)

I think some Aussies see the beauty of the snow, & Christmas lights reflecting off the snow, but dont realise how cold & how dangerous it can be. Especially on the roads. It must be off putting driving in these conditions.

I still feel that's too much for one place, can't you share like 5inches with us here at nottingham? we haven't had a decent covering for years and when we do it just never lasts. We've been forcast snow, although I'm hoping it's a covering not a sprickling. ~Joey

I love it too....even if I traveled in it a bit this morning. I am glad I came home when I did as this afternoon it was raining and mixed with snow. The whole world down here in now a winter wonderland!

I have been waiting and waiting for some snow to fall here in New Jersey! So far we haven't had a single flake! The weather forcast says that we are supposed to get 3 inches tomorrow, but we'll see if that happens!

HI GB, The lights look so pretty surrounded by snow like that. Nice picture. I agree, the snow looks so pretty when it first comes down and is undisturbed. Now driving in the stuff is another story. Being from the South, I had my first experience driving in the snow a year after I came to Washington state. The stuff comiing down was just beautiful, and fun to walk in. Over the years, I have learned to take my time to get from point A to point B, or I may not get there. Driving can be tricky, but it is a lot of common sense. If people just take their time and are careful, they will get to where they are going just fine. It is the people that are in a hurry that have the worst time driving in snow. With all your experience, I'm sure you manage just fine.

wow christmas snow. i can tell you the truth that i have never been outside when it is snowing but i guess it is because i have always styayed in the smae place all my life which is california. i love the weather down here so i am glad i dont have to deal with snow all the time
