Younger kids really believe there's Santa. Sometimes at certain age some kids stop believing.
For now, just let your daughter stay in her belief. You can ask other relative to dress up in the santa costume and distribute the christmas gifts. My brother in law asked the relative of his wife to dress up the santa costume coz his kids think that he was the santa.

I think it is good that they believe in santa. They dont get to be kids much these days. They have to grow up too soon as it is. Let them have some imagination and fun.

i had a friend who was a jehovah witness and her ex eas cathloc so her kids were taught by her there was no santa and by their dad that there was a santa so i explained to them about the man named st nick in the olden days that brought the poor kids of his country gifts evry year around the same time and he came to be known as santa claus and that its not santa claus that is real now its the spirit of santa claus that people kept alive that was real. that helped them a great deal with the confusion of is there or isn't there

I'm with you on this. They find out soon enough that there is no Santa, Tooth Fairy or Easter Bunny and it seems they grow up too fast once that all happens. Let her believe until she figures it out for herself!

My son found out last year he was 10 I think he has kinda known for a few years but last year he flat out asked me so know he thinks he is really cool getting to help with the Santa stuff for his 4 year old sister this year. He will get to drink the milk and eat the cookies.
Some kids no Santa does not exist but they act like they think he does to get more presetns too.

I think most children believes in Santa Clause. I think there is nothing wrong in believe about Santa Clause. My parents never told me there were no Santa Clause when I was young. I still love to believe there is Santa Clause. Believing in Santa Clause helps me feel happy. I think you should not tell anything about Santa Clause. She will understands as she grow up. I think there is nothing wrong in believing in Santa Clause. It makes most children happy.

When my son was 10, he was wavering in his belief in Santa Claus, that year we decided to visit family in another part of the state and on the day after Christmas, we had a hockey tournament to go to.
Now I was a single Mom, working FT +, so free time was not existent for me. So we decided that that year we would not decorate a Christmas tree.
Well, about 9 PM, we left my parent's house and low and behold there were deer prints in the snow, then we listened to the radio, listening to the NORAD broadcast. He fell asleep somewhere around midnight and I drove until 3:30. Well, we got home and he walked in the house to find not only a CHristmas tree all decorated and lit up in the living room but underneath it was Christmas presents. All he said was 'Mom, there is a Santa Claus'. A friend, came over while we were gone and decorated the tree and placed the presents out.
Oh I should mention that, 11 years later, this past September - we got married.

Oh, by the next year, my son had figured it out. But he said that that Christmas was the best one ever.

None of our kids believe in Santa any longer. Of course the oldest is 28. Our youngest just turned ten last month. She stopped believing last year. I miss it,but now we have the Grandkids who still believe.

My daughters are 5 and 6 years old. I think they both suspect that my husband and I are Santa, as they have made comments about it. However, they enjoy the spirit and magic of Santa, so they keep it alive. Therefore, I keep it alive. I will do that for as long as the girls want to keep believing. I am 33 years old and I still get a gift from Santa at my parent's house on Christmas Day.
