If a past love had a new chance, would you take it?

Everyone has that "one that got away", that one love that never seemed to quite work not because of those in the relationship but more like because of circumstances of life. What if this long lost love came back into your life out of the blue, would you take the chance and relive that romance or would you let it slip through your fingers once more?

I would give it a chance, but take it slowly, still being careful, in case the love had changed. I think second chances do happen. Is this a question about you, or just a hypothetical question, a what if?

You're too good! It's a half what if half about me. I had to let the chance slip though... again life gets in the way. Made me wonder what everyone else would do. I say if you can take the chance take it but be smart with it.

There is one I would try to retrieve. Definitely yes on that one. The rest can rot if they ever came up again. An emphatic no for them.

I love the emphatic no for the rest, lol and I totally second that motion!

I would definately take the chance. Speaking of which, I have had one of my "ones that got away" on my mind constantly lately. XD

It depends because if I am already in a good relationship, why take another risk right? If a relationship is strong and the love between two people is divine, no matter how bad the circumstances are, the relationship will still stand. If i am not in a relationship and my past love would try to rekindle old flames, I would be considering how he will fare if we will undergo through the same circumstances that broke our relationship then. Will we be strong enough this time or are bound to another heartache?
