Christmas Concerts

Hello Doll, I'm just a bit behind.... there were activities going on but we did not attend any... my 17 year old daughter became very ill prior to Christmas and was very sick throughout the last few days... so I stayed pretty close her... happy new year xoxoxoxo

i used to go to candy cane lane when i was younger now i don't really do anything this year i'm just staying home and relaxing and catching up on the mylot discussions

We had our Christmas concert last Sunday, and I had to attend because I was in the choir. I am always afraid of being late because I don't drive and I have to have someone pick me up. It's in the other church and it is too far to walk, especially in the snow. Anyway it was from 7:30 to 9:00 and it went well. We sung about six songs, and there was a couple of duets and instrumentals in between. My friend who used to be a professional singer said I sung marvelous. I had not done too much practice because my husband was on the computer listening to --audio cds and I thought I would sound terrible. On Wednesday we had the children at our Church school have their concert in the morning because some of the children were in kindergarten. The audience joined in in some of the pieces, but were the little boys and girls really cute up on the stage.

Besides our church service yesterday, I haven't been to any Christmas concerts. I worked the last several days. And I will be off today and tomorrow and I will probably just be sitting at home in front of the PC.

How luck you are to attend Christmas concerts. In China we have no vacation today! Have a nice day!

I hope you had a good time. Its great to spend time with the kids. We had the grandsons this weekend. I took one of them with me to church. We had a good time. He even got 3 presents from some of the ladies at church. We had lunch at Taco Bell, he doesn't hardly get to go there, his brother doesn't like to go there. The kids at church put on a nice Christmas play, and we sang some Christmas Carols. Take care Marcie.

wow,hope that i can attend same festivities in christmas, actually im in bed only, just to say a merry christmas to myseldf anyway, im just glad that i still reach this christmas hope to have more christmas in my life, hope you enjoy to those activities and kindly share with me what happen in that activity... I went to see Kenny Rogers' Christmas concert. It was wonderful and I went with my two sisters, my sister's best friend and my brother in law. It was so much fun to share a bit of the Christmas season by attending his concert!
