Shopping with My Hubby

We had to go to Walmart to return a shirt that I bought that was too big for one of my grandsons. I decided to get him slippers instead. I headed for the service desk while my Hubby was checking out the sales in a nearby aisle. We then headed for the slippers. Alas, there were none that struck my fancy. We headed straight for the toy department. I picked up a fishing game and some batteries for it. Hubby was looking around and I managed to lose him. Found him again as I was looking at the vitamins. Lost him again. I found a beard trimmer and some razor blades (those were pricey, $12 for 5 blades!). I headed quickly for the nearest checkout. Prompting the cashier to hurry so he doesn't see the gifts, she quickly slid my purchases over the scanner and I paid with a quick swipe of my debit card as I waved to my Hubby who was looking at a book at the other end of the cash registers! I headed his way with my package in hand to see what he was laughing about. It was Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck Dictionary. I never thought that he would like such a thing, but he does. We arrived home and had lunch when the phone rang. It was my Mother looking for a ride to go shopping. I groaned, but went to pick her up. She had some errands to run in town, but wanted to go to Walmart to pick up her medications. When we got there, I picked up the book that Hubby was reading and bought it for him. I can't wait to see his expression when he opens his gifts and I tell him the story of when I bought them. I am sneaky!
