How much time do you spend at a computer everyday?

I am sort of an IT worker, so I have to stay at a computer more than 10 hours per day. Is computer that necessary in your daily life? How much time do you spend at a computer everyday?

I spend 9 to 10 hours per day. I have a computer-related job, so I am spending a lot in front of the computer. Personally, for me computer is necessary in my daily life, as this is where I get my daily income for myself. :-)

I have a home based business so I am online every day and I would say @ least 12 hrs per day, working my business and I also sell on ebay part time.

The amount of time I spend each day on the computer is probably too much. Even though I am trying to make money, I do not want to lose my eye-sight in the process. Maybe I should upgrade to a flat-screen, in order to prevent eye strain. Computers can get to become so addictive however.

i spend about 2 hours on a week night(on school days because im on break) and 4 hours on the weekend. Wow i thought i spent alot of time on the computer... thanks for reading.- extrex

Too much actually. I study IT so at school i'm always behind my laptop. When i come home i need to do some asignments, so again, behind the laptop. I would guess 8-9 hours/day.

The only time I'm really not on the computer is when I'm eating, sleeping, or in the bathroom it seems. Constantly going to school for IT, and owning an IT Contract Business makes life without a computer difficult and on average I usually put in 10-12 hours in front of my PCs.

I am working as a medical transcriptionist so most of my work is in front of the computer. I spend aroudn 10 to 14 hours a day in the front of the computer. I also spend some time in front of the computer for earning money from different sites.

I spend about 3-5 hours on a week night and 10+ hours everyday on the weekend. I am always trying to find ways to make money online.

For me, i use computer as much as possible. I have many rivals in using my computer not mentioning the visitors. I use computer 3 hours each day. The computer is not that necessary in my life because i can still do things even without it and i will surely live without it.

Almost all except sleeping time I think.However,I usually have to download something without my CRT screen at the time of sleeping.It's a important element of my life.I had thought that I got a disease called internet addiction.

I atleast have to log online atleast once a day but on somedays I will be on the computer a good part of the day.

my laptop is so necessary in my daily life because its my main way of socializing with my family and friends when i'm at uni, also i use it loads for research when i'm doing coursework or revising for an exam i prob spend at least 6 hours per day on the computer
