I was under the impression that buying or selling babies is illegal. If you mean the "fees" you pay when adopting, then I know exactly what you mean. It costs a lot to adopt. There are "private" adoptions out there where you pay the expenses of the birth mother in exchange for her letting you adopt the baby after birth. Check with your doctor, friends or neighbors to see if they know anyone who would like to find a good adoptive family for their baby when born. But don't ever try to "buy" a baby.

I have seen them on ebay. And if it is someone that is new at it you can usually get it at a decent price.

going to an adoption agency is the only legal way to do this. please do not"buy" a baby, this promotes illegal activities that always seem to end bad.

I know what you are talking about. As I am looking in to trying to make my own & make a business out of this someday in the near distant future. I have found the best place to look for the reborn dolls is on e-bay. It all depends upon what type of doll you are looking for & how you may want it to look.. There are a variety of different ones to choose from & some of them aren't $200.00 & up.. It just all depends upon what you are looking for.. I have bought one for $80.00 & to me that is a great deal compared to what some of them are selling for. I'd say check out e-bay & look around & go from there.. You never know you may end up finding something you may like.. And going with it.. I wish you all the best.. And I know how difficult it is sometimes to find one that sparks your interest.
