Chocolate Candy?

My husband got a box of what I thought was chocolate candy for Christmas. I knew it was some kind of Polish candy since it was written in Polish, but I didn't really know what kind it was. Well, last night I took out a piece and started eating it. I was in for a surprise. It was chocolate, but inside the choclate was some kind of alcohol, a good amount of it. It had a strong taste. Have you ever gotten something that wasn't what you thought it was?

Yep!I have and just the other day my daughter did.She got a small box of chocolates from my boyfriends mother for christmas(shes elderly).My daughter opened it,i never paid attention and ate one.She made a funny face and i said whats wrong?She said the chocolate is weird!I took the box and looked and it was full of vodka chocolates!!!I took it from her right away.My boyfriends mom,cannot see well and never checked the box good,haha!Holy cow!

yup my grandmother use to make her own chocolate candies. some for me when i was there and some for her and my grandfather. I ate all mine and relaly liked them. so i decided to take one of theres wheen ym grandma came in the room and i had a funny face. my grandma seen me with her box of chocolates and just started laughing.
My grandfather being the funny guy that he was slipped another one of those into my next batch just to see my face!!

Maybe your husband test you if you like that candy in a box. So you found out that is a chocolate. Like you I love to eat a lot of chocolate. I love chocolates because of the taste that will last inside my mouth. I love chocolate because it will give a strength while in my work. Sometimes, when I feel stress and bored, I used to eat a chocolate candy to ease my stress feeling and my boredom.

Oh my, you must have gotten a rumball. Those things are very strong and as far as I am concerned nasty. My introduction to them was finding a stash of chocolate in my mother-in-laws refrigerator vegetable bin. Well, she thought it was hillarious the gagging and choking and fuss I made. Then she told me that would teach me not to get into things when I don't ask first.

I have had similar things like that happen to me where I think it's one thing and it ends up being something else. Sometimes it's a nice surprise, but sometimes it can be very disappointing. Hope you had a nice Christmas!

yes I have gotten a box of chocolates before and thought that they would be really good and turns out they where really gross. I hate that when it happens.
