One way to end the year

I opened my washing machine and what a shock. Everything was covered with tiny white specks of paper. The only thing I can figure is a news paper must have fallen into my laundry basket. What a way to end the year.

Uh-Oh! That's happened to me before too but it was a tissue that was in someone's pocket and it was put in the washing machine.

Aww...that's no fun. Even one little tissue can cause a huge disaster in the wash. I'd rather end the year that way than begin it though. Somehow, if my first load of wash in the new year went that way I'd wonder if it was some kind of indication about the rest of the year.
