Koi In an Aquarium

I just bought 2 small koi and I am keeping them in an aquarium. Dose anyone know they do in aquariums? Will they survive or do they need a lot of space?

thezman I have a 55 gallon aquarium. I hope that will hold them for a while. I also have a plastic pond that is about the same size. Do you think they will be be ok using the pond for summer and the aquarium for winter?

thezman Your right, Koi do need a lot of water. I bought a book on them since I started this discussion. I do need a pond for them.

thezman I receive about 500- 600 emails a day to my main email account. I also receive about 7000 to 8000 a day in my safelist email account. lol

Do you like using stoneware for baking? I love it. Cookies come out so much better, more evenly cooked, and soft. I also like making pie and pizza on a stone.
