I thought about writing this discussion the other night after I talked to my co-worker. She was telling me one of her customers at her other job gave her a tip for prosperity for the coming New Year. "Alway's eat fish at midnight". She told me this woman has a lot of money. This woman has done this for years and swears by it. We are both going to try it. There have many ways over the years that I've heard to insure we have money in our pockets for the coming year. I always make sure I have money in my purse on New Years Eve. I also make a soup out of cabbage. So far these things have worked for me. So do you believe that things like this could help us in the coming year? What do you do to try and bring wealth into the New Year? Or don't you believe in superstition or folklore?

I bought a book about how to earn money that I'm going to read, so I think buying the book before the New Year about money will help me. What has cabbage got to do with anything?

I hope the book works for you. If you eat a soup made of cabbage, it is said to bring prosperity for the year, and you will never be without money.

So that's what I'm doing wrong, not eating cabbage until St. Patrick's Day. Who knew? I've started reading some of the book. Interesting theories. I'll have to check it out. Take care, fun post

I have heard you should take a piece of straw out of the manger set at church or wherever and put in your wallet and your wallet will never be empty...it seems to work, though I didn't make millions I have also heard to keep a number 8 in your wallet...I think the year I did that though I only made $7000, lol.

i have not heard about either of these. I will have to keep the number eight one in my head or write it down somewhere.
