I like banana a lot and I would also ask people to intake banana regularly. I too like banana's allot I just don't eat them too often. I like to eat them on sandwiches with peanut butter or ill just eat them as a quick breakfast.

Actually, I just had a banana and it was GREAT. I knew it was good for you but not all those facts... Is it true thatif you have too many, you can gain weight? Always wondered that...

lol I love banana's! I didn't know that they where so good for you. I knew that they were GOOD for you, but i didn't know that they were THAT good:) Thanks for sharing all that wonderful information about the banana with us.

Yes i like to have banana after lunch if have banana wiil get good diegetion .I will have banana milk shake & banana chips , banana fry , i will prepare lots of dishes with banana in my place will get diffrent types of banana .. BEST BANANA BREAD RECIPE Two cups-all purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 3/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup toasted valnuts 3 ripe , soft darky speckeled large bananas , mashed well (about 11/2 cups) 1/4 plain yogurt 2 large eggs beaten lightly 6 table spoon butter ,melted then cooled 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Prepration adjust oven rack to lower middle position and heat oven to 350 digrees. Grease bottom only of regular loaf pan or grease and flour bottom and sided of nonstick . Combine dry ingrediance together in large bowl and set aside.Mix mashed bnanas, yugurt, egg, butter and vanilla with wooden spoon in medium bowl. Lightly fold banana mixture in to dry ingredians with rubber spatula until just combined and batter looks thick & chunky. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan ,bake until loaf is golden brown and toothpick inserted to center comes out clean about 55 minute. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then trasfer to wire rack. Wrap tightly with palstic wrap and store in refrigerator for 4 days on the counter for the 2 days..

Hi Thanks for the recipe,I shall try it at the weekend. I read somewhere that you should eat a banana each day to keep the potassium levels up,but I didnt know about all the other benefits from eating bananas. I also read you should also try and eat a kiwi fruit each day,seemingly it is full of goodness...and they taste great too. Happy new year to every one.

Hey there men82in, I have always disliked the taste of a banana. There seem to be many benefits to eating bananas, and I guess if I ever considered eating one, it would be because I needed quick, proven results to feel better. Otherwise, I will just take advantage of the health benefits of other food and fruits that I like better. Take Care and Happy Eating.

This was and still is the most cost effective and filling fruit,and with so many benefits listed to its credit it does seem that I have been doing the right thing for years that is having BANANAS

i know banana has many advantages. But i do not like bananas.i have some problem in throat and eating banana makes it more. so i avoid taking it. Happy new yr to u.

Wow! Cool information! I too am abanana lover and love eating banana. I eat a lot of them during their season of abundance availability. I would like to add to your list of Banana-Merits the fact that banana is used at par for gaining weight quickly. Happy Bananing!

i also love to eat bananas. here in the Philippines we have a variety of bananas that is needed to cook first before eating it. it is called saba variety... i really love saba variety especially if it is cooked with sweet coconut milk

I like banana... really love it. Its because the taste is just creamy and fresh. I put also banana inside the refrigerator before i eat it. And i dont need more time to eat banana, since i can easily open and eat it, compare to eat apple, pineapple or papaya. I need to wash, cut... and... i just dont have much time just only to get edible portion... ahahah... banana is also riched by Potassium... its good for bones and skin!!! viva banana... btw, banana split sundae is a really "great" desert. hv a nice wekend!

i just can not stop eating bananas. they are my all time favorite fruit. i also have my daughter eating them everyday and at every meal. i puree them in a glass with banana yogurt to make a smoothie, i mix them in to pancake mixture, i sometimes fry them up. i add slices to my vanilla pudding and so much more. the ideas are endless for bananas

Wow, thanks for sharing that . I knew they had a lot of benifits, but had know idea so many. I plan to try to quit smoking inthe new year so I will stock up on Bannanas for sure . Happy new year to you and your loved ones.

I love banana~ I know that it is good for health but I don't know that much! thank you for you information! My brother work in a drink bar, he mix chocolate with banana and make milkshake with it.It's very tasty and people who don't like banana will love it too!

I dont just like bananas I love them . I can eat a whole dozen in not ime ...:D . But considerin the fact that you can gain some extra pounds of wirght , I just eat a few each week.I like to make a milk shake of banana and strawberries and then enjoy it :)
