It was lucky for me to have opportunity to Germay, a very great nation with its Automobile industry and diligent people. The first impression for me to Germany is that people always smile to each other. No matter they are friends or strangers. Foods are much sour than Chinese.By the way,I love Germany knuckle Beer is softer and more fragrant.Traffic is much better. I visited Germay in Dec.2007,it was christmas season. We went to some christmas markets,Hot-dog,green wine were very nice. One more thing i noticed when i travalled in Germany is that people won't waste any of their time, even if they are in a train or a bus. Some of them woring with laptop, some others reading. As for me, I was attracked by the beautiful countryside.HAHA Vevy nice country with a lot of famous cars, such as Porsche,BMW,BENZ,VW,OPEL..... Above is my brief introduction for my empression of Germany. So let's start our discussion about your impression to Germany. No matter if you've been there or not.... By the way, I am Jenny,China girl.....

Before visiting Germany, i was thinking that it was a "cold" country with people very unfriendly. After visiting Germany, and specifically Berlin, the capital city, where my brother is studying, i realised that reality was much much much different from imagination. MY grandfather said to be that "Germans have hard hand but soft heart. English have soft hand but hard heart"! Indeed...! German people are more friendly than english (which i everyday see as i'm studying at UK). Being at Germany, atmosphere around you is very warm and while you have in mind the history of Germany etc, you feel very differently BUT nice and warm! since my first visit to Germany, i visited it again for another 2 times and each time i like it more than the previous!!....

Germany is a beautiful country i have family members over there. My grandparents often went for holidays to germany and they liked it very much. Also because the language is not so different from the dutch language. German are people who are very polite and friendly (well most of them) and they take things at there time. I have a lot of contact with german suppliers. They are very friendly.

i happened to go to gemany last year, and i think it is one of the finest country in europe,i went to frankfurt, stayed in raunheim a small town, visited heidelburg, mainz. It was an absolute amazing experience being the, on one side you have this slow and calm life in towns and on the other hand moving city like frankfurt, full of life. You can see the best of cars in the world out here. Beautiful churches, castles to superb skyline of frankfurt, to the placid river like rein and main.. It is a delite to be there.. Given an opportunity i would love to visit this place again.

Hello fanhuashamo ! I see you are new to mylot. Welcome. I am from Germany. I am very glad that you visitied my country and that you liked it. Yes our country side is beautiful but we see it every day. No, not much of our food is sweet or spicy. Yes we are in a hurry and work a lot. It is fun to see what foreigners find out about us. I have never been to China, maybe one of them days.... Happy mylotting!

I live in Denmark, so Germany is our neighbour country. I have been to Germany many times. When I was a child my family often went on daytrips to Germany, and I know the northtwestern part of Germany quite well. My brother used to have an apartment in Flensburg, and I have lived there when I was studying in the southern part of Denmark. I enjoyed living in Germany, it is not different from Denmark but I still enjoyed the new experience. One of the differences between the Germans and the Danes is that the Germans are much more polite than the Danes. The Germans use the polite sentences when they speak to people they don't know, the same kind of polite sentences exist in the Danish langauge, but the Danes don't use them much.

Well, Language reflects culture. But I think Danmark is a romantic place with more beautiful fairy tales.
