What household chore do you hate the most?

I had to stop what I was doing to empty the dishwasher so I could put in the dirty dishes. It struck me that this is one chore I really hate. I don't know why because it only takes a few minutes of my time to do that but I seem to put it off as long as I can...that and cleaning out the fridge is the 2 on my list that always get done last. What household chore do you hate the most?

EVERYTHING! I hate everything. I have a back injury and when I do things around the house I pay for it later. There is no way that I can get out of doing these chores as it has to be done.

I think that's why I hate doing the dishes... Too much bending, and it makes the back hurt even more. I sometimes forget to put the back brace on before doing them and then I don't want to stop to do that.. Maybe we need to hire a maid to come in and do what we can't!

I could totally go for having a maid. So much easier. I find little things help. A little stool to put one foot up. Bending so that you are leaning your arms on the sink so that you spine is a little bent but straight. I sometimes even use a chair.

I think its a toss up between two chores for me. I hate cleaning the bathroom.. cause its the dirtiest place, I mean ew. And i hate doing laundry because i have to drag all the clothes to the laundry mat cause we dont have a washer and dryer in our apartment. It takes a long time to get it all there, wash it, dry it, fold it, pack it back up in the bags, drag it back home, and then put it away. It really seems like a lot of work compared to people who have a washer and dryer in their homes and just wash a load here and there. I don't like cleaning out the fridge either! but at least it doesnt' take too long to do its over before you know it :)

Truth be told I just hate all household chores. LOL Don't we all? My best friend just told me that if I do the ones I hate first then the others would seem like fun...but then again that woman cleans when there isn't a need to be clean.

I think my most hated chore is cleaning the refrigerator. It just takes so much to take each shelf apart and clean it properly. I had to clean the fridge yesterday because my grandmother was lazy and made some hamburger off of a roll. When she put it back, she didn't have any aluminum foil to put on the end, and completely forgot about the sandwich bags we had. When we came back from grocery shopping I opened the fridge and saw the mess. I just knew it was something my little sister did so I started fussing. My grandmother spoke up and told me it was her. There was blood everywhere, and I was fussing about it, so I had to clean it up. * I had to take each shelf out, and apart, to clean it properly. And it is so hard to put the shelves back together its maddening! Then I had to sweep and mop the kitchen floor because in moving the shelves, I dripped blood all over the floor. This is so not my routine for a Sunday!!! Once I was finished I bagged up the Garbage and started for the door (Cleaning the kitchen like this is reserved for Wednesday before I take the trash out) I didn't even catch myself until I was at the door!

I bet your Grandmother is happy that you are there. I sure could use some help with the fridge. You do a good job of cleaning. I think all men should have to do household chores for a year or more so they will know what their wives have to do every day. And since most women have a full time job maybe then the men would be more apt to help around the house. God bless

Hands down, absolutely loathing, is vaccuuming. I hate vaccuuming. The house has to be really bad for me to turn on the vaccuum. In fact, I tell the wife that I can't turn it on that is how much I hate the task. Unfortunately, with the college schedules this spring, I might be the only one with time to vaccuum. Sigh.

I hate doing laundry especially the part where you have to fold the clothes and put them away. There is never enough room for all the clothes to go back in the drawer evern though they come out of the drawer! I don't use a dishwasher even though we have one I always do the dishes by hand and my son puts them away.

I hate to handwash clothes, I hate dusting of any type, i hate cleaning the fridge, i hate cleaning out the cupboards.... my hate list goes on and on..

i think its not really a household chore, but i absolutely detest grocery shopping! not only do you have to drive to the store, manage your way through the crowded aisles, ponder what to buy, and then stand in line for awhile to check out, then you have to PAY for them, and then take them out to the car, unload, and drive home, unload, bring in, put away, then you have to cook it, it makes you fat, and then you start all over again! hate it hate it hate it!!!

I hate to sweep. I love to mop, and I don't mind doing laundry or vaccumming. I even enjoy scrubbing the bathrooms. I just detest using a broom. I bribe my teenage daughters and offer to clean their bathrooms if they will sweep the kitchen and dining room for me.

Too be quite honest, I don't know of anyone who likes to clean at all. Yes there are people who have to have things spotless, but I don't they enjoy doing it. As for what I hate the most. It is a big toss up between three things. 1st: Laundry, I don't mind putting the stuff in the washer and transfering it to the dryer. But I hate folding it and putting it away. 2nd: Empting the dishwasher: Like you loading it is do big deal, but I dread empting it. And 3rd: Bathrooms: I have one word. YUCK!!!

Can I say them all. LOL. Well I guess you can say that the chore I hate most would have to be cleaning the bathroom. I find it easier to clean the shower whilst in it. If I could get away with not having to clean the bathroom it would be great. Even better would be if I could afford someone to clean for me.

DUSTING...Oh my how I hate doing this. If I had the money I would pay someone to come in snd do it for me. I have tried buying new products, the dusting wands, the gloves...and on and on and on...nothing makes it any better. Thanks for reminding me that it needs to be done...*groan*

Don't mind stripping the beds, washing the linen, even ironing and putting away but I hate actually making the beds back up. I always seem to get in a tangle and it wears me out more than hoovering

If I was just cleaning after myself it woulodn't be bad but cleaning up after two men, (my husband and his brother) I'd have to say my worse job is scrubbing the toilet. Old men are the worse and being blind???? Yes nasty job!!! I hope caregivers have a special heaven one day.

Hands down the laundry is my most hated chore to do around the house. I will do anything but laundry if I had a choice. Thank God I do because more often then not hubby will do it or at least get it started for me.

I totally hate to vacume. Everyone in my house knows I hate it too but, you don't see any of them offering to do it for me. It's the annoying noise that it makes that bothers me. Plus, it's so loud that I'm afraid I might miss something important that I couldn't hear.

There really aren't any household chores that I mind; unless you count cooking. I count cooking because I have to prepare and cook meals for my family. I don't like preparing food, cutting, chopping, dicing, slicing food, etc. I do not like to cook. I'm not sure why I can't stand food prep, probably just because I know the cooking comes next. I don't like cooking because it ties me down and I don't like to be tied down. If I am doing laundry or washing dishes, or vacumning, etc. I can stop right in the middle of it and leave if I want and leave. I have never done that, but I could. If you leave in the middle of cooking, you could burn the house down, at the very least, you could ruin the food, as this would happen to some foods even if you turned them off before you left and turned them back on when you got back.

The household chore that I would hate the most would have to be cleaning out the oven, and fridge! Oh, and vacuuming too cause I get a sore back afterwards....don't mind the dishes with a dishwasher (hehehe, we just got one - much nicer than hand washing them all)...Folding washing can be a tough chore - with 3 kids and 1 on the way, it is very time consuming and often doesn't get done til it accumulates to a big pile that takes about an hour or more just to fold!!
