a long hot bath with lavender oil in the water (just a few drops) to help calm nerves, or peppermint oil and lavender rubbed on the temples for a headache :D

Vinegar cuts grease just add water to dilute (or use straight if you don't mind the scent) in household cleaning water. Great on mirrors and windows!

There are such a lot. Eyebright is good for curing conjuntivitis Comfrey or Knitbone as it's sometimes known helps bring out bruises and eases the pain from broken bones. Camomile calms the nerves, it also prevents nits but can only be used on blonde hair. Sorry can't remember any more at the minute.

castor oil, used externally only, is very healing to skin. castor oil is also absorbed by the human hair shaft, and is used in many hair conditioning products.

Whole cloves are great for several things - throw a palm full in hot water and let steep to make a tea that's great for when you are nauseated or have a stomach bug. If you have a toothache, place a whole clove between the tooth and your cheek - or use diluted clove oil - its a natural antiseptic and a natural anesthitic (numbing thing - I know I misspelled it haha!) The oil is very strong though - so you'll want to dilute a drop in a tsp or so of olive oil before you use it on your gums...otherwise it can cause them to blister. Peppermint oil - place a drop on each temple when you have a headache. Ginger - Place a couple teaspoons in you bath water to draw out impurities and parasites - dont overdo this - ginger can burn your skin if you add to much or stay in the bath for longer than 30 minutes. Tea tree oil - great for everything LOL Cuts, scrapes, acne, athletes foot etc. Be sure to dilute if putting on delicate skin. I am not a doctor and nothing I said should be used to diagnose, treat, cure..etc etc...and I'm not responsible for the use of any suggestions LOL But I've used them all and love them all!

vinegar doesnt kill nits though it may help loosen the eggs from the hair. Sorry (been there, tried it, didnt work)

Vinegar will not kill nits, but unglues the nits from the hair shaft, so you may comb them out. Keep removing nits (lice eggs), and unless reinfested with lice, they do not return (from hatched eggs in the hair).

Well this is an easy one..I suffer from migrains and my husbands cousin is a chrioprater and gave me this suggestion to try and I have been doing it since. Cotton ball split in two..hottest water you can stand, wring out and place in ears, cold wash cloth compress on the back of neck. Find a quiet spot and just lay down and close your eyes. Oh and when my son got stung by a bee..cut an onion in half and place it where the sting is,it removes the stinger.

Another tip for stings: meat tenderizer! It takes away the OUCH!
