Anyone else starting back to class tomorrow? I have to start tonight with my reading since I take online classes. I am really dreading it and having a hard time getting back into it. Does anyone else go online? Is your tuition as ridiculous as mine?

I started class accualy last week on Thursday. To me it didn't make scence that we would start on Thursday and only have 2 days but oh well.

That makes no sense at all to me. I have never even heard of them starting back on Thursday. Kinda cuts into your holiday a little bit too. It is so tough to get back into the swing of things for me.

ya it sucked it cut into my holiday break. And to make it worse the school cut the break shorter by a week. The only reason I didn't mind going back to school was so I can go back to art class.

Are you in high school or college? A full week? Why was that missed days because of the weather? I would not be happy if they cut my break that short either. I only get a few weeks out every year so I need them desperately. I am on a program that you get your 2yr degree in like 16-18mos so we go all year practically.

I am doing my MBA online, but I have no breaks or time frames. I can do in my own tempo, as I like. The only requirement that I will be done in 5 years. In my case, it is still possible, as I have 3.5 (from 13) classes left for the remaining 1.5 years. Tuition was OK, when I started. I think, it doubled over these three years. Anyway, most of the time, it is fun. I am already looking aound, what I will study next. I have MSME, so I want that my education will be still related. May be, it will be computer science, or conflict management in the office environment. I am not sure yet. But, as I work more than 10-12 hours a day, online studies are the only possibility...

Check Ashworth college. They have CJ program as well. I do not know, how much does it cost now, but I was paying just $99/mo. Good Luck!

I know with Criminal justice you can go all the way through your Doctorate online which is awesome. I love my freedom but the tuition for this school is becoming ridiculous. They are wanting me to pay over $300/mo out of pocket next semester and that is not possible. I am pregnant and have a two year old daughter. I have a family to support and do not see me coming up with that kind of extra money so I am shopping around different online schools right now.

I will definitely look into it. I found out today what is up and I have used up all my available pell grant. I really dont want to drop now but dont want to go too deep in debt over school either. Seems like a lose lose situation no matter what I do. thanks

Yes. I too have my College from today. I'll be entering in the new term of Semester-IV of my full time campus based Post graduation programme. Its too early, we got only a week's break and I dont want to join my college so early. So I have decided not to join collge for one more week. I'll be joining my classes from next monday!

Isn't that going to throw you way behind in all your classes? In the program I am in you cannot miss many days so I couldnt take a week off if I wanted to. I am going to have to quit for a few months after this class to get financial aid straightened out though.

Tuition really is hurting me now too. I love the freedom of the online programs so I can be at home with my family but if I cannot get a scholarship or something I may have to go back to campus because I just cant handle this much longer.
