A Little Vacation

Well I have returned after a 4 day vacation. I needed a break from here. It was mainly to do some yard chores for the winter season. More on that to follow I am sure. HAHAHA!! I was once again getting burnt out from here posting and responding and adding comments. This place has really slowed down too since I last did anything Thursday night. I did not have a lot of emails as opposed to say one month ago. I can rememebr as early as one month ago I'd get a couple hundred emails daily. Now after a 4 day break I was lucky to have gotten 200 totally. Oh well. Anyhow I have returned for now. Hopefully it will last longer this time before the burn out feeling returns. HAHAHAHA! Is this place really slow this week or what?

And this has what to so with my return? HAHAHAHA! Just joking. It's been decent here lately. Still above normal temps for January here imn Minnesota. Waiting for another artic front to pass through. Supposed to get a few inches of snow soon too I heard. Im waiting. HAHAHAHA!!

I agree things have really slowed down on here. I work every weekend so I get my break from posting then. I really enjoy this site so I hope it picks back up. Did you get your yard work done? I really should have raked poo today,but I left it for my husband.

I got done what I could anyhow. Theres a lot of poo in my
yard as well I am sure. That will wait till it gets warmer
and more snow melts so I can see it. HAHAHAHAHA!!

I have been sick and posting less. My goal this week was to post 3 questions a day, but I feel weak and tired. I just am trying to make payout this month, but that looks like its going to be hard in this condition.

I found that most days it's pretty slow but welcome back buddy!
I'm hoping to be able to do the exact same thing shortly, things here have been getting to me and I really could do with a week or weekend away to get things following again.

I did not get away at all. I was still here at the desk at home etc etc. Blah blah blah. HAHAHAHA! But it was a needed rest from mylot at least. You take your mini vacation as well. I read something about it in one of your newer discussions also.

Oh so you had a break within your home, that's cool I'm sure it was peaceful. =)
I haven't quite got any further with my short break yet, still a little early to decide where to go but I'm looking forward to being able to have a few moments to myself. Kudos!

I think the place is really slow on some day! I know I will clcik on a category to respond to some discussions and the next day all the same discussions are there no one has started new ones in them.
I think alot of people have left mylot too becasue they amount of pay has said to slow down.
I just post a little each day and I like to keep up with my friends on here and see what others have to say.

My pay hasn't slowed down any like some claim. It still seems the same to me anyhow. I needed a well deserved break once again was all. But I am back with a vengance for starting discussions. HAHAHAHA! Thanks also.

I can understand the feeling of burn out, from My Lot & other programs.
I will be having a 4 day break as from tomorrow. Bianca & I are going up north to attend two swimming carnivals. It will be very hot, but we are looking forward to it.
It is tiring posting & posting.
At the moment I am trying to do lots of responses, as I want to get to the minimum earnings by the end of this month, which I may find difficult being away.
When I return next tuesday I will look forward to seeing your posts.

I know exactly how you felt! I get tired of myLot too once in a while and it would feel like no discussion would ever interest me and I wouldn't even get interested in replying to the responses in my discussions. ^__^;; its like, myLot is being a stressful job on some days. LOL but I still stand to my discussion that myLot is a stress reliever for me on most days. ^__^
and there are days for me too that I would get only a few e-mail notifications and worst, nothing would seem interesting. ^__^;; I guess those days I'm just feeling blah and not in a good mood.
anyway, its good that you're back here again so, welcome back grandpa bob! ^__^

I just logged in (again) today, and here you are! I'm very happy to see you back here. I can understand you feeling burnt out, after all you've been through in the past year. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.:) It really does seem like things are slower, as a lot of the 'regulars' seem to be coming and going, then some coming again. I signed up last January, so had no idea back then, who was on a lot, and who wasn't. Anything can become a chore at times in life, and then it's good to take a break. Again, welcome back!

I've been a member for 13 months or so and a lot of the ones from back then are gone. But there are many still here but not as active as back in myLots heydays. I got your e-card also. Actually 4 copies were sent somehow. HAHAHAHA! Thanks for them also. Means so much to me friend.

Wow, you've been here even longer than me. I do miss what I call 'the glory days here,' too, but still, I press on. What a riot! I knew you must've gotten multiple copies, because the computer was acting up, and I couldn't get the card to post. Obviously, it did.:) I was on my way to get some sleep, but was determined to send it first. You're very welcome, by the way.

Welcome back from you mini-vacation, Grandpa Bob. Glad to hear your well rested and rarin' to go again here. What kind of yard chores can you possibly be doing in snow, I wonder? It's been pretty nice out last few days so with all the snow melted :-( I've been doing a few chores outside. Still gotta get all the landmines picked up but least they are all in one area as I train all my dogs to go in one area. That way I'm not clomping all over the yard looking for them and end up missing 1/2 of them. lol

Well lets see, taking down the Christmas decorations, clearing snow from my drive that was where I don't drive or park at, removing ice from the sewer area, keeping the mailbox cleared of snow & ice, and on and on. Ughh! Hahahaha!! We are getting an inch of snow tonight then 1 to 4 inches more tomorrow on top of that. So I'll be busy with the new shovel and snowblower. Hahahaha!! The landmines stay till it's warmer here. besides they are buried anyhow. Those that Buster hasn't dug up anyhow. Hee hee. As far as the comment you left on my photo, I don't wear suits and haven't worn one in many many years. Since High School actually. I wore a tux at my daughters first wedding and thats the only tux Ive ever worn. But I do wear dress pants and shirts ever so often.

ok ok I get the idea. lol I forgot all bout your Christmas decos outside needing to be taken down. You can come do my drive next time we get over 8" of snow, specially the last 10' of it where we never fail to get stuck if we stop to look for cars.

I always notice when you take a break from here because I miss the e-mail notifications of your started discussions. Yes, I noticed that mine had slowed down for a bit, but has picked up a little more the last few days. I log on to MyLot daily but I don't ever get burned out, maybe because I do other things on line that breaks it up. I finally made payout today which I am happy about!

I guess we all need a break from time to time Grampa Bob lol. I have also taken a bit of a break ,especially since it is year end and the busier time for me in the year(I work as an accountant) for the company I work for. So did you get your yard work done? I was away here as well, grandpa. T'was during the seasons, since I always thought of having some time off here and decided that december was the right month to do so!;) I just got busy with my personal life that time, streched some muscles and prepared for the season.
I think mylot has been recovering from the last month's celebration, I've received fair responses from the discussions I've started and I'm thankful that the activity here has gone back to normal!;)

I have been really slow in replying and making an attempt to earn some extra $$ here. I am just not into it like I was at the beginning. I will be taking a four day break too heading to Hawaii YAY so maybe that would do me some good and when I return I'll be rearing to go.. hopefully! hope you had fun in the yard :D:D

I am sorry you are getting board with us all. I do get board sitting at the computer at times. I am working now from home and have to spend 45 hours amonth on the computer for work. I then have all my emails. It sure takes out of my email time.
Sometime I just want to veg out and watch TV. Now that I am working I find that I have not been keeping up my home as much as I did before. I also have not been feeling as good as I felt before. I do not know if it is the added stress of working or what it is. Time will tell if I can continue to work.

perhaps many people have new year resolutions to spend more time with their family and less on mylot!
Glad that you took a break too. It's always refreshing to have a break sometimes. I'm going to take a vacation soon too! visiting vietnam...
