Hi. I am earning online but try to refer others to the paying programs I am joined with, but the problem is, they join and most never work the programs. I earned quite a bit last year from my work only. I think alot of people think sites are scams or they do not want to help others earn a little more. I have no problem helping others earn more, but i sure wish they would be active for me as well. How about you? Do you experience this?

i don't get that. I don't understand how people think they are going to work online and not help others make money. I mean there a great programs out there. free ones and ones you pay for. where you can make some really good money with. but you are never going to make big money unless you have a downline. the important thing to know about your downline is they are people and you have to treat them as such. i make money with my current programs without a large downline, but to make the kind of money i plan on making a downline is the only way to get there

I don't get it either other than I think they do not want to join right under you because it would make you make a little bit more. GRRRRRRRR. I am making all of my good money by myself mainly because I send people the link, they join, and never do a thing with it or I send the link and they join the site without my referral link. I would love to have downlines in all of my programs but don't see that happening. I refer and still make it all by myself because they don't work and some own't join under me to help me out even though, I am the one helping them out too.

I have quite a few people under me at moola. They are active also, b/c I earn bonuses from them sometimes. I only active referrals on a few programs. And I have basically quit even promoting most of them. I am concentrating on my freelance work and Platinum one destinations. I want to be able to earn the most money from just a few online ventures. I still do moola each day and winzy b/c winzy is so easy to use. I also have stuck with mylot obviously. I have some articles up on ehow. I like that site too. I have quit logging into yuwie though. You don't earn enough there.

Yup I hear you. I am devising a plan where I can get everything done and not neglect anything. If I could prove to myself that I can make enough at home w/o working, I would take that leave I want. But i don't really trust not getting a paychech when I am supposed to.

I know exactly what you mean. I earn online from alot of sites and some of them pay me by check. some checks take 6-8 weeks to be processed, but sometimes it takes longer than that to receive them. I always wait till the end of every month to deposit my earnings to see the total I have made. I like to have my earnings in front of me because it makes me prud to see and gives me motivation. I hope it all works out for you as well.

I do earn online last year without any active referals,, but its okay, we should not depend on others effort to earn for our own sake,, but of course a little help will do help if there is any,,

I have a few active referrals in my programs but not many. I earned $4000.00 last year all by myself, mainly. I take my time to refer others to these sites but they do not join under me or they join and don't do a thing with it, or they don't join at all. That is what makes me mad, but they still say they need money. Makes no sense. Grrrrr.

Yes. I have tried and tried and nothing works when it comes to referring others to paying programs I am joined with. I will just keep working hard and earning by myself I guess.

Yeah. I have the biggest part, no of my refeals have made me one dollar yet and although I did wish they'd post I'm not bothered. It's fun being here, I simple wanted to show them how fun this place could be. So I'm here and making the money by myself and my wife who posts who a few times. ~Joey

That is the same here for the most part. I have refs in most of my programs, a few here and there, but it really doesn't boost my earnings much. Alot of them never push themselves to make sure they earn. I am used to earning by myself but I think if I take the time to help others, they should return the favor by being active.

Yep same problem here - myLot for example I now have 15 referrals but have less than a dollar from them. I only have 2 referrals in other programs that are actually 'active' on those programs and funny thing is both of them came from myLot friends (one even has a couple referrals under them now).

I have 17 referrals here at Mylot but only 2 of them are active. It is so hard to find people who really want to actually "work" online and devote themselves to doing just that. Alot of people are afraid you will make a penny more than them. I never think like that. I joined under seberal people to help them out. It just never seems to happen for me to get good referrals.

Yes I agree it would be nice if all could be active. I think some people sign up for these things and then realize this type of work is not for them. It is boring after all. I am a referral for people so they got lucky with me as I am faithful to the sites that actually pay. I do have referrals on one site MoraTraffic..I am not sure how I got them but I did. However I think only one might be active and I get practically nothing of them. If all the referrals there were active I would then know what it is like for people who have referrals. I am a referral for a friend here on mylot,,I think I am her only referral but she likes it because she makes a little something most days even if she is not here typing.. actually she is never here but she will still reach payout soon. LOL I WANT A REFERRAL! :)

I am a referral for alot of people too. Alot of people join but they won't use my referral link. some join and never return to even give the site a try. I have 17 referrals here but only 2 type anything. I made $4000.00 online by myself, pretty much last year and this looks to be $5000.00 or more. Good luck with referrals. I know it is very hard to come by.

I can certainly understand your frustration. I don't know why people join things that they are not going to pursue. This is why I've decided to only be a referral for someone if they do the same. This way we help each other out, and most likely those that agree are the one's who are serious about earning some extra cash. And if the program they want me to join is not of any interest to me, I have no problem asking them if they have something else and tell them the types of sites I'm interested in. So far since I started doing this, I've had a higher success rate of referrals. Good luck in getting your referrals and succeeding online.

I have tried that also but it doesn't work. they may join my program but do not work with it. I will just earn by myself because it is not worth my time sending them all of my links and joining and helping them and they don't return the favor.

Walking into online work, I knew that I was bad at getting referrals (based on previous experience in the "real world"). So from day on, I looked at programs to see if I can earn enough to justify my time in a program without any referrals. I have misjudged a few programs; in the end, discovered that I am better off focusing on my writing. That is ok by me; that is what I want to do anyways. I have only succeeded in getting a few referrals here and there. They all end up being inactive, even when I am providing help. The basic attitude is that online work is too little money for too much work. And I find that I have a different viewpoint of some of the sites. For instance, Helium--everyone looks at that one by noting how little they are getting per month from just a couple of articles, without looking at what the same number spread over time and more articles would produce. I am still writing at Helium; my referrals are not. So it goes, As for Yuwie, which was mentioned in an earlier response, I just use it as another place to put up the occasional article link. Without active referrals, there is no way to make payout there in a reasonable amount of time. Note that my definition of a reasonable amount of time is open to question, I only made one payout here and one on Helium last year, and I considered both to be reasonable for the amount of time and effort I put into them. Of course, with Helium, I am playing the long game and here, I spend very little time and effort (mainly relaxing and warming up for other writing).

Hi stephcjh, Do you mind sharing the programs you are working with? I have had the same experience that it's kind'a hard to get active referrals, so I rely on what I can accomplish myself, specially by getting experience from people in communities like this one. You have a great day.

Oh yeah, I have I don't know how many referrals, at least 19-20 and not one has been active in the last 60 days..I am so very frustrated, I don't even know if they quit because they couldn't get online or if they didn't make as much as they though they would..When it comes to making money just for something like posting discussions/pictures, mylot is the tops..

I have a problem getting referals. I do well just depending on myself. It seems everyone who is interested in the sites I do are already members. I have joined many sites using other names so that they get referrels. I hope they are making something off me. I think that if someone is nice enough to inform me of a site that I like they should get credit for it. I stopped worrying about getting referrels. When I do get lucky and get a referrel it is usually a site that doesn't pay for referrels. I hope that you get more referrels and maybe this year I will too. I am not counting on it but who knows maybe. I will just keep writing and see what happens. Have you tried buzzagent yet. This site may help you get a few extras. Check it out.

Same here. I depend on myself but waist alot of time sending others my referral links. I made $4000.00 all by myself last year. I am currently with buzzagent but haven't done much with it because alot of my time is going to the sites I am currently working with and it is paying me very well. I expect to make around $5000.00 this year online.

I do not have many referrals in any of the sites. I earn only the money from my work. I could manage to get only 2 referrals on mylot and both of them vanished without a trace. The problem is that many people I know do not work online.

Most say they need money but won't do anything to earn it. Some join and never return or I send them all of my links and they join, but not under me. Grrrrrr.

yes so am i! i know that the fastest way to big bucks is through getting people to sign up under you. but for me, i find it difficult to get others to join. and there is so much cheating on the internet that any invite will be viewed with suspicion. for my friends, not all of them are into pay sites, so i have to do this all by myself! and i guess i'm proud of how I've managed so far all by myself. and when someone takes up a referral it's not always that they post prolifically. so i just enjoy doing things in my own time at my own pace, my own way.

Yes. I am very happy with my earnings by myself also. I made $4000.00 last year. that is the most I ever made online. I know this year will bring me $5000-$6000 or more. I am very excited about that. It is alot of work but it is well worth it. It is all easy, free money and can't beat that.
