How do you ignore a person who is bothering you all the time.

i have been in a similar situation. there is one officemate who i thought was fun to hang out with but it turned out that he's just so full of himself and i just couldn't stand it. everyday he would pester me and annoy me and at first, i would get so annoyed and talk back irritatedly at him to shut him off but he didn't stop. what i did was ignored him completely. not respond to everything he say (unless its about work), and not react to whatever jokes or whatever silliness that came out of him. i think he got the message coz he stopped messing with me. ^__^

I know exactly what you mean. You try and try not to be downright rude to a person but they just don't get that you are not interested. I hate being rude to people but sometimes that is what it takes. If you just have to do it, tell them straight up. You are not interested and do not want to hurt them but enough is enough.

maybe you could confront him and let him know how you feel and that you're not interested at all. If he keeps on bothering you, that will make you push him away even more. If he still doesn’t understand..change your phone number! Hehe…but hopefully he'll take the hint and will leave you alone. take care ;)

Don't answer the phone or the door. Even if knows you are inside. Rude, yes..but he will probably get the hint
