yeah i have noticed that when i respond to a discussion my animated gifs don't work.

I have not noticed that. As far as I know all animated GIF's work on my broswer regardless of who posted the message. All the ones on page one of this discussion worked for me. It may hav esomething to do with the broswer you are using.

Maybe it is a problem with the layout or that particular image?
