Picture this... (please)
You waiting at a bus stop, you've been there for a few hours and it seems the buses just aren't coming and then a few minutes later, two pass by completely empty and you've suddenly realized it was worth the wait. What's this got to do with "my recent friends here" or even friendship? I hear you say...
Well,
I somewhat relate to that with my recent friends. I stuggled awhile to make new friends here who'd interact with me, respond to what I said without saying "Oh that's nice" etc..
Those who have made me feel overwhelmed, like I orgianlly felt when I first joined I cannout thank enough. It's very special to come across this especially when they treat you like old pals and those who have made me feel all "sentimental" will be able to tell because I'm addicted to responding and getting to know them.
Knowing some, will think I'm mad and that's slightly true. some might say like I heard before, people pretend here but I don't think so.
Thanks to all my new friends, I strongly mean "all"..

P.s Have you ever had two buses come at once or had many friends suddenly come into this wonderful site. (teaches me I should request more often!!)

What are you like matey eh? LOL! Waiting for a bus for a few hours, hope it's not raining, but I hear what you are saying and some welcome, long awaited sunshine is now reigning down on top of you! That's good! You deserve success, you deserve friendship because you have a lot to give and you are very popular, good to have you as a friend and remember whenever you are down, need help (sounds like a cue for the A Team!) ok just call on the Mylot Team and we'll help you! I'm probably just as mad too (and there's no full moon to explain my madness tonight either!)

I can't get the "A teams" theme out my head now!!!
Well, it's just nice to get back into the swing. I've been missing interacting with new people, just seemed like everyone was leaving and nobody wanted to play with poor me at times.
I do actually recall waiting for a bus for 3 hours in the pouring rain. (thankfully it hasn't happened much) it's raining now but thankfully I'm not going anywhere. LOL
Stop trying to get rid of me =)

Yes. I think some people here do pretend but alot of them are very sincere in what they have to say.
I have met some really nice people here who have helped me out alot.
Mylot is very nice because there is always someone hear to talk to and relate with.

Yes. I sure don't want people to dislike me but it does happen everywhere I go. Not all people dislike me, but they sure do not show me any respect when they are in my presence. I'm not sure what it is. I have always had a problem with this since I was little.

Oh I noticed it awhile back, kinda feel some of my older friends did too especially some who no longer keep contact with me.. anywho that isn't important =)
I have too steph, I tend to pipe on about my friends here but they truly mean the world to me. Couldn't picture myself away from here, I think the only thing would be if everyone started hating me! :)

I know what you are saying. I do have my "old" friends here. But I have managed to make some "new" friends too. We have new people joining this site everyday. The way I feel is "A stranger is just a friend that you haven't met yet". I love meeting new people and getting to know them.

I don't think i'd ever forget my dear friends from the beginning middle and (no way the end) one's like you who've become apart of my life. =)

What a coincidence that I should see your discussion was about myLot friends as I just finished responding to a member who was bragging on having over 1000, seven pages, of friends. I choose my friends carefully because I really want to interact with them. I have made some very good friends here and I feel I have really gotten to know them personally. In the past year they have supported, comforted and given some very good advice. I know that you are one of my new friends and I am looking forward to getting to know you better.

I have also been getting a few new friends lately and it's nice. For a while I didn't request any new friends because I didn't want any trouble like a few of my friends were having. I find that most people on mylot are genuine, so I'm glad that I am meeting and making new friends. You are very kind, and I am glad your my new friend.:)

i guess this ties in with the saying it never rains but it pours.
congrats on the many friends that you've made recently.
personally for me when two buses come at once it annoys me cos it means that something has gone wrong with the bus system and I have had to wait for far too long.

Everytime i go to type joey, i type hoey, cause i have a friend i grew up with who's name is joey, but we always call hoey. LOL.

I really enjoy my friends here. And by my friends I mean most of the people I interact with in here regardless of them being on my list of friends/ or me on theirs.
I have had a chance to discuss new ideas, get new perspectives and have a great time.
People pretend? Maybe. Probably, but it's still great to be able to interact with most people here.

You're one of my first friends here, and I know you requested me. You also gave me my very first comment on my profile page. Thanks.:) I've just recently made some 'new' friends here too, and it's great. Of course, I truly value all of the ones I've had for sometime, too, and have met some wonderful people, who are very sincere. I 'try' not to say 'that's nice,' only, very often. I guess it's just when I'm at a loss for words, if I do this, and can be because they haven't given me much to go on. I'm so happy that you're back here, and 'fully active' again. You were missed! I know exactly what you mean, and you are welcome, lol..Keep the nice conversations coming. I have a little notebook of ideas for new discussions to start but sometimes just replying to all of my nice myLot friends takes all the "spare time" I have. I remember when I first encountered you on lot Joey. You'd just came back from a long break and then you were fretting because some of the longstanding members were now gone (some with good reason). Even though I'm still a newb compared to plenty of members, I wanted to reach out... I knew how you felt.
Since then I've been a part of bigen and other fun discussions on here with you.
Its great.
As to your question, I believe I really feel the same way on my lowest points (which happened twice on lot). Then I returned part of the favor with a "to friends" thread. Oh and of course I continue to help out friends with discussions and other issues when I can.
