I love spaghetti with meat balls. Where is the best place to order this dish? I regularly order it at Olive Garden, but am looking for other places. I use to make my own noodles when my daughter was young, but now its a lot of work for one person to make each week.

spaghetti is really good and everyone in my family really enjoys it, but it is not something we generally order when we go out. we go out so rarely that spaghetti seems just a bit too common, inexpensive, and frequently had at home - to order.
I can not recall ordering it anywhere other than a place in upstate new york called the spaghetti factory - but that cost like $4 for all you can eat - and we went there specifically for spaghet.

Thanks for the reply. I will have to find out where the closest Spaghetti Factory is located. I sure wish there was good food in my area for $4.00.

I love spagetti meatballs as well. I cant recommend a place where you can get them, as no doubt we live in different countries.
I can offer you a great recipe, so you can cook them at home:
MEATBALLS AND SPAGHETTI SAUCE
MEATBALLS:
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 c. bread crumbs
2 eggs
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 sm. cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 c. milk
Salt & pepper to taste
SPAGHETTI SAUCE:
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
2 (29 oz.) cans tomato puree
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. water
1 med. carrot, chopped in sauce
FOR MEATBALLS: Combine all ingredients. Shape into 2 inch meatballs. Brown under broiler 3 to 4 minutes. Turn meatballs, brown 3 minutes more. Drop into spaghetti sauce and coat with sauce.
FOR SAUCE: Cook tomato paste in oil until bright red tomato color turns dark red. Add other ingredients. Simmer, covered for 3 to 4 hours. Serve over your favorite pasta - our favorite is gnocchi.
Serves 10.

I prefer to eat my spaghetti at home. I do occasionally order baked spaghetti for Fazolis. Most places over cook their noodles so I skip eating pasta out and order something different.
