I've always been interested in tarot card reading but can't read them unless I look up the meanings of alot of the cards.
My daughter got some, started learning through a friend and when she does the readings she usually is pretty close.
Do you think Tarot cards are really what was, what is and what is to be.....OR......is it a coincidence and a generalization that could be going on with everyone's lives and no matter what reading you end up with, you will familiarize your own life with any reading that you get?

I think the cards can really be a bit of both. For one, anyone can be experiencing anything that the cards are pointing towards. However, some people just generally experience things that are so far out of the way the cards can only be pointing towards it. I've found when reading the cards, some people just ask really vague, one answer questions and when you get the cards, they lead to a very general, vague answer. I try to get people to ask their questions better and focus more on the person when shuffling to get answers that are meant more for them and not just anyone.

that's kind of what I always thought, but my daughter seems sooo impressed with all of it, I had to ask and want to hear good and bad experiences. It's interesting to me that someone did that!! Hmmm..........was your friend and his woman friend seeing someone else at the time?

Yea, they have their own family. But the tarot reader said they will be having many children and that they will enjoy an abundant life together as husband and wife. They are not husband and wife since they have their own family. What a waste!

I belive in them... that matters too... If u belive then the card are more better to read... i guess some ppl when they wake up they pick one card and that will show them how there day will be or what the topic of the day.... some times u want a love reading but the card can tell u or lead u to a total diffrent story. and it might not be u that the cards are talking about maybe it the person u think about.

No i think there is some truth in all of these readings, i also think it is up to te person to believe and understand. The cards are often quite vage so they can be interpreted in many ways. Take care with your decision making and dont make any harsh decisions based on a card reading, just let the future unfold.

The truth about tarot cards is that they are a TOOL of the person who is doing the reading. They are being interpreted by the individual, who uses the information you give them, the question you ask, and what feelings they get from the cards. They are connecting to thier "higher self" to get impressions. What this means is that if you go in and lie to the reader, they will interpret your cards based on the lie you told and not on the truth, so the reading will be false. Another thing to take into consideration is that most often the people who are out there charging an arm and a leg for a tarot reading are going to be con artists out to make a buck. But not always. Also, it does take a bit of psychic awareness to do a good reading. If you don't have that awareness it is nearly impossible to connect with your higher self and interpret the feelings and mental images that are in play during a tarot reading.

I believe strongly in tarot. It helps if you follow the guidelines when you first begin. One of the things it tells you is to not buy your own cards. If you do you will never get a true reading. Another thing you need to do before you sit down to do a reading is clear your mind and have only one question in your thoughts during the shuffle. It's a very hard thing to mastery but it can be done and it can be correct.

actually, the thing about not buying your own cards is a myth. almost everyone I know buys thier own cards, including me, and never have a problem getting true, clear, readings.

I really can't say that I believe in them. I think our lives are already mapped out for us. Some people do get lucky enough to guess how our life is, will be, or turn out, but I really don't think the cards are very precise and factual alone.
I would have to go on with my life and let it take its' course.
